Programming Machine Operator Lead
Job Description:
What will you do?
- Lead shift meetings, assign tasks to the team, and eventually prepare end of shift for hand over
- Monitor and audit operator's performance to assure adherence to quality instructions
- Plan people, production, and orders to ensure efficient operation
- Generate production data and maintain visual performance indicators
- Take on duties of a Programming Center Supervisor in their absence
- Support production when needed and process customer orders
- Train and develop operators to ensure maximum productivity
- Plan and manage maintenance to prevent failure
- 6S around your workplace
- Lead by example - do not create unnecessary pressure by abrupt behavior. Remain calm and observe, approach employees at ease.
- Listen to all points of view and feedback. Do not always go in the direction you desire.
- Involve the Team / SV in coming up with potential solutions hindering our daily operations.
- Treat everyone with the same amount of respect.
- Involve SV in troubleshooting and highlighting issues on production. Do not draw conclusions before consulting and finding the root cause.
