The Role

Overview
We are recruiting for a Programme Manager contractor to start ASAP. This role requires 3 days a week presence at the Manchester office.

This is an initial 3 month contract with a reasonable probability of extension to the end of the year depending on programme delivery targets being met.

Who We Are:
AND Digital is a tech company focused on accelerating digital delivery and dedicated to closing the digital skills gap. Since 2014, we have helped organisations build better digital products and stronger digital teams through our regional offices (‘Clubs’), creating close partnerships with clients.

Our unique model has driven remarkable organic growth, and today we have over 1,300 people across the UK, Europe, and the USA, with plans for global expansion. Join us and help fulfil our mission to close the world’s digital skills gap.

Role Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and organised Programme Manager to lead multiple workstreams within a fast-paced Generative AI Implementation. The successful candidate will operate independently to identify and resolve delivery challenges, enabling smooth progress across various teams and priority areas.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading and supporting release management activities to ensure timely and controlled delivery
  • Navigating internal governance processes to facilitate change approvals and compliance
  • Collaborating with Business Stakeholders, Product Owners, and Technical Leads to escalate and resolve blockers impacting delivery
  • Managing dependencies across multiple programmes and teams to maintain alignment and mitigate risks
  • Supporting team delivery planning, ensuring resources and priorities are effectively coordinated
  • Providing clear and timely reporting of progress, risks, and delivery milestones to senior leadership
  • Enabling Lab Leads and senior stakeholders to focus on strategic planning by alleviating operational delivery pressures
  • Driving continuous improvement in programme delivery practices and governance
  • Maintaining strong relationships across stakeholders and SMEs across the programme

What you’ll bring to the table:

  • Proven experience managing complex programmes involving multiple teams and delivery streams
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels
  • Experience in release management and navigating governance frameworks
  • Ability to identify risks and blockers proactively and drive resolution
  • Comfortable working in a hybrid environment with a minimum on-site commitment
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams including technical and business roles
  • A self-starter mindset with excellent organisational skills and attention to detail

Equal Opportunities Statement

We are an equal opportunity employer and welcome applications from all qualified candidates. We actively encourage applications from women, ethnic minorities, and individuals with disabilities. We consider all flexible working arrangements, subject to the requirements of the role. Where reasonable adjustments are needed, we will strive to make changes to accommodate them.

What We Do

AND Digital is on a mission to close the world’s digital skills gap. We do that by doing things differently when we work with our clients, communities and colleagues. Instead of working FOR exciting brands (like British Airways, Heineken and Nike), we work WITH them, and that's not just a party line. We combine our people with our clients' people to form a single project team, so collaborative you can't tell our ANDis from our clients. By working together, we help our partners understand and map out the challenges they're trying to solve. Then, by building their digital products as one team, we teach them the same digital skills we have. That means when we leave, they can own their apps, websites and future projects independently. Pretty cool huh?

We have cross-functional teams working across the UK, Netherlands and East Coast US - and growing by demand. Our unique, city-based Club model means we can offer the agility and personalised service of a small local company, with the security and clout of a global organisation
