An exciting opportunity has arisen within Rolls-Royce Future Programmes for two Programme Leads to join our fast growing and innovative environment.
In this role as Programme Lead you will be working within an Agile environment and responsible for enabling delivery using your Programme Management fundamental skills.
The second role will be aligned to a focus on Project Managing Supply Chain delivery within the same environment.
Both roles provide many development opportunities working on Demonstrator Programmes, Campaigns and the Future Programmes Portfolio.
What you will be doing:
- Facilitating Programme delivery through effective Agile rituals and governance
- Accountable for maintaining and reporting delivery status to plan, risks and finance management to both internal and external stakeholders
- Responsible for ensuring there is a robust Supply Chain delivery plan in line with Programme and Contract milestones and escalating and mitigating key risks.
- Maintaining and providing critical Programme information using various planning and monitoring systems to make Programme recommendations and decisions
- Developing and implementing Project Management best practice as applicable
- Continuously collaborate across the Portfolio for adaptability and engagement
Position qualifications:
- APMQ Qualification or equivalent or significant Programme Management experience
- Experience of operating in an agile environment
Preferred requirements:
- Ability to work independently in an ambiguous environment using previous experience to drive delivery and improvements.
- Experience of working on NPI programmes
- Experience working within Supply Chain Management
- Experience using SAP and Oracle Primavera or similar Project Management software.
To work for the Rolls-Royce Defence business, an individual has to hold a Security Check clearance. Rolls-Royce will support the application for Security Clearance if you do not currently already have this in place. Due to the nature of work the business conducts and the protection of certain assets we can only progress applications from individuals who are a UK national or, in MOD and Government body approved cases, a dual national.
