As a Programmatic Ad Ops Analyst you will own the setup, optimization, and performance tracking of programmatic campaigns across DSP and SSP partners. You’ll help Big Happy expand our advanced buying capabilities, ensuring campaigns run efficiently, accurately, and profitably.

Key Responsibilities
- Campaign Setup & Execution
- Build, launch, and manage programmatic campaigns across DSPs
- Manage audience targeting, inventory selection, pacing, spend, and client KPIs to drive performance for our clients.
- Monitor pacing and budgets to ensure full delivery
- Implement optimization strategies around inventory management, engagement, sales, awareness, brand safety, viewability, and bidding strategies to align with client needs and best practices
- Optimization & Reporting
- Monitor campaign performance daily; identify trends, troubleshoot delivery issues, and execute optimization plans.
- Partner with analytics and strategy teams to align insights with messaging and creative testing.
- Produce clear reporting with actionable recommendations.
- Technical & Operational Tasks
- Maintain accurate trafficking of creatives, pixels, and tracking tags (including GTM, UTM, and 3rd-party measurement tools).
- Serve as a go-to internal resource for programmatic platform capabilities, updates, and opportunities.
- Cross-Team Collaboration
- Work closely with Strategy, Analytics, and Creative teams to translate marketing goals into programmatic execution plans.
- Communicate clearly with account managers and clients when needed to explain performance, opportunities, and platform insights.
What We’re Looking For
- 1–2+ years of hands-on programmatic ad buying experience (DSP or SSP), particularly in Mobile or DOOH
- Familiarity with trafficking, audience segmentation, pixel implementation, and programmatic ecosystem mechanics.
- Experience optimizing toward KPIs such as CTR, ROAS, CPA, CPM, and viewability.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into action.
- Comfortable working in fast-moving environments and managing multiple campaigns at once.
- Detail-Oriented: You catch issues before they become problems.
- Curious & Resourceful: You proactively explore platform capabilities and new opportunities.
- Clear Communicator: You can explain technical concepts in simple language.

Compensation: $55,000–65,000 + 10% semiannual bonuses + quarterly performance kickers
