Job Summary
The Production Planner I is responsible for ensuring the timely availability of materials and the efficient execution of production schedules to meet customer demand. This role supports production continuity by coordinating planning activities, monitoring inventory levels, and aligning supply with operational requirements. The position plays a key role in maintaining accurate production plans and minimizing risks related to shortages or excess inventory.
About your role
Develop and sequence daily and weekly production schedules based on SAP planning outputs.
Coordinate with production teams to optimize order sequencing, reduce downtime, and adjust plans according to demand changes.
Monitor inventory levels and confirm material availability before releasing production orders.
Track work-in-progress (WIP), open orders, and constraints to ensure continuous production flow.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as procurement, logistics, and operations to ensure supply chain alignment.
Support continuous improvement initiatives related to planning and material control processes.
Maintain compliance with company policies, procedures, and operational standards.
About you
Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.
1–2 years of experience in production planning, materials management, or demand analysis within a manufacturing environment.
Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP.
Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel; knowledge of Power BI is a plus.
Familiarity with Lean manufacturing methodologies and continuous improvement practices.
Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
Ability to solve operational problems, prioritize tasks, and adapt to changing production conditions.
