This is a 100% remote role for candidates based in the Washington D.C. Metro Area (D.C., Maryland, Virginia). Candidates can be located within a 2-hour commute from Alexandria, Virginia.
About the Role:
Viderity is seeking a Program Support Specialist to assist a major research institution's Office of Advanced Cyberinfrastructure (OAC). This role will support program operations, review management, and planning, ensuring effective execution of OAC programs through coordination of high-profile meetings, managing communications, and handling logistics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the Advisory Committee for Advanced Cyberinfrastructure, including scheduling, minutes, and member management.
- Oversee the OAC Monthly Newsletter content and distribution.
- Coordinate participant logistics for the CISE Distinguished Lecturer Series.
- Prepare briefing packages, presentations, and reports for OAC leadership.
- Provide logistical support for review panels, from scheduling to documentation.
- Assist in identifying and recruiting reviewers for diverse panels.
- Analyze and maintain data on review processes and funding allocations.
- Coordinate working group activities, including agendas and documentation.
- Monitor project outputs for communication purposes.
- Manage program-related documentation and calendars.
- Ensure compliance with program-wide reporting and policy requirements.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience in project management with a track record in complex project oversight.
- Proficiency in communications, technical writing, and stakeholder engagement.
- Strong organizational skills for managing large-scale events and documentation.
- Technical proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and various collaboration tools.
- Ability to work independently managing multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
- Equivalent experience or certifications may substitute for a master’s degree in relevant fields.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in federal or research-based organizations, particularly in program planning.
- Familiarity with research funding, proposal review, and reporting processes at similar institutions.
- Knowledge of data analysis tools for program impact assessment.
- Experience in digital content management for program communications.
Salary range: Salary Range: $90,000-120,000
