Location: Mae Sot, Thailand (field-based) | Chiangmai, Thailand (office based)
Project Area: Thai-Myanmar Border
Language Requirements: Fluency in English (working language); Thai and Karen preferred
Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement strategies for improving household income through livelihood and vocational programs.
Map and address education gaps (e.g., school access, dropout risks, vocational training needs).
Work alongside local churches to equip families and caregivers with knowledge on food security, financial literacy, and practical life skills.
Support youth with relevant training pathways that promote long-term well-being.
Monitor program outcomes related to education access, vocational progress, and basic needs (e.g., clean water, food, medicine).
What We’re Looking For:
3–5 years of experience working in community development, especially in border or conflict-affected areas particularly in the field livelihood and education program support
Strong understanding of the socio-economic realities of families in migrant or displaced communities.
Proven experience designing or contextualizing livelihood or vocational curricula.
Background in education, vocational training, or economic development.
Preferred: Familiarity with education and job access challenges in the Thai-Myanmar border context.
