Job Description

We are looking for a Program Support Specialist (Assembly Solutions Group) to join our Rexel USA team in Santa Clara, CA!

 

Summary:
The Program Support Specialist is responsible for the management of project business for the Assembly Solutions Group. The Program Support Specialist interfaces with the customer, manages relationships with sales and vendors, and is responsible for maintaining clear and timely communication throughout the project.

What You'll Do:

  • Manage all aspects of medium to high profile/complex projects including delivery schedule, scope and/or scope creep
  • Be responsible for organizing all project documentation such as OMS, Drawings, Test Reports, submittal packages, and Certificates of Compliance
  • Proactively seek alternative methods to deliver the project on time and within budget
  • Collaborate in creating process designs/approaches for new processes/fulfilment methods
  • Support Sales, Engineering, Supply Chain, Manufacturing and Quality management, particularly with regard to documentation and records
  • Identify areas for improvement, suggest solutions, submit ideas, and execute on implementation
  • Coordinate with vendors, customers, and sales teams on pricing, order placement, claims and returned goods to ensure we are meeting customer expectations
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

What You'll Need

  • 3+ years of quotation, project management, or customer service experience
  • Track record of independent process ownership Process experience in a Quality Control setting (ISO preferred)
  • Be willing to obtain, in process of obtaining, or currently have an active Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
  • High School or GED - Required
  • 4 Year / Bachelor's Degree - Preferred

 

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Excellent computer skills required
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strong analytical skillset for troubleshooting technical processes
  • Be obsessed with continuous improvement
  • Familiar with reading plans and specifications, schematics and single line drawings
  • Ability to effectively communicate with customers and peers
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point

For the state of California only, the pay is $54,815.90 to $68,519.88, depending upon qualifications, experience, and other considerations permitted by law. Commission/Bonus Plan: Branch Pool Plan
