About The Position
The Program Supervisor, Energy Efficiency is responsible for overseeing and executing on objectives that further company and contractor implemented Energy Efficiency programs within Ameren Illinois' Energy Efficiency portfolio. The Program Supervisor, Energy Efficiency will serve as a point of contact for the execution of projects impacting the energy efficiency portfolio; will manage and maintain data; and will increase awareness of portfolio offerings with internal and external stakeholders. This role assists with leading less experienced staff, other Ameren personnel, external vendors, and partners to develop programs and offerings that will benefit Ameren Illinois' customers.
Key responsibilities include:
- Oversee the performance of contractors responsible for the implementation and operation of energy efficiency and demand response programs.
- Oversee the coordination of internal and external resources (subcontractors and vendors) committed to successful program execution.
- Review and approve vendor invoices. Manage contract compliance. Coordinate accounting activities with Corporate Accounting
- Maintain an appropriate positive and mutually beneficial business relationship with business, professional groups, and industry allies in support of Ameren Illinois’ energy efficiency objectives.
- Assist in the development and execution of marketing, sales and program implementation strategies that increase customer satisfaction and motivate customers to implement energy efficiency and demand response projects.
- Support internal and external program communication and outreach needs.
- Track program metrics. Prepare status reports to accurately monitor progress against program objectives, timelines, budgets and goals.
- Lead the development, implementation and tracking of projects using project management best practices.
- Stay current with ongoing trends in energy efficiency and demand response.
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university required. MBA preferred. Five or more years of relevant experience required (e.g., contract compliance, marketing, accounting, technology, data reporting, engineering). May waive degree requirement for candidates with nine or more years of directly relevant experience, or for candidates with an Associate's degree with seven or more years of directly relevant experience.

Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university required. MBA preferred. Project Management Professional certification and/or Certified Energy Manager also preferred. Seven or more years relevant experience required (e.g., contract compliance, marketing, accounting, technology, data reporting, engineering). Utility, Energy Efficiency or other related industry preferred. Three years of team/project leadership experience preferred. May waive degree requirement for candidates with eleven or more years of directly relevant experience.

Compensation Range:
$88,500.00 - $172,200.00* This pay range encompasses multiple levels of the role. Career level and compensation depends upon applicant's credentials.
At Ameren, base salary is one component of a competitive compensation package for employees. Our pay ranges are broad to allow for movement within our organization and to accommodate different skill sets and levels of expertise. We take into consideration a variety of factors including, but not limited to, skills, abilities, experience, education, credentials, and internal equity when determining the base salary offered. Roles are eligible for additional rewards including annual incentive payments based on individual and company performance.
