Summary:
The Program Specialist I assumes the primary caretaker role for psychiatric patients ages Pre-K through adolescents which includes activities of daily living, maintaining a safe environment, and the management of harmful behaviors. The Program Specialist I also participates in crisis intervention, teaching, group process and on call as needed.
Qualifications:

High school Diploma or Equivalent required
-
Experience in inpatient or partial hospital psychiatric treatment preferred

Pediatric experience preferred
-
CPI Non-Violent Crisis Intervention - Units 1-7 & 9-10 plus the CPI Children's Control Position from Unit 8 or must be completed within 60 days of start date

Heartsaver CPR within 60 days of start date

CSC SCM training must be completed within 60 days of start date
