As we continue to expand our initiatives, we are seeking a passionate and dedicated Program Specialist of Alumni Success to join our team.
As a Program Specialist of Alumni Success, your role will be responsible for designing, developing, delivering and implementing an alumni curriculum for the NextGen Community. This position requires experience supporting career-focused content and resources targeting diverse populations. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the professional development and career success of our alumni. Your expertise in career-focused content and resources will be instrumental in supporting our diverse alumni population as they navigate the ever-changing landscape of the workforce. By developing tailored materials and resources that address the specific needs and challenges faced by individuals from different backgrounds and communities, you will play a vital role in ensuring equal access to career opportunities for all.
Responsibilities:
• Coordinate with Director of Career Pathways on the Alumni Strategy.
• Research, design and deliver alumni workshops. • Manage and execute delivery of programs both virtually and in-person for large groups. • Collaborate with community team, marketing, DEI operations and employability team to ensure the Alumni curriculum and program are meeting the needs of the students.
• Assist in the planning and coordination of project showcase events, and other community engagement events for alumni.
• Utilize analytics tools to measure the effectiveness of program promotion efforts and track participant engagement. Provide regular reports to stakeholders, highlighting key achievements, challenges, and areas for improvement.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role you have:
- • 5+ years of work experience in education, community management, program development technology, or related fields is desirable.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in instructional design and developing training programs, experience developing alumni curriculum is a plus.
• Strong understanding of adult learning theories and instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE, SAM).
• Certification in instructional design or related fields (e.g., CPLP, APTD) is an advantage.
• Experience developing and delivering alumni workshops focused on career development.
• Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
FD21
For positions in New York State (outside of New York City), we offer a base pay of $77,000 - $119,300, plus equity (when applicable), variable/incentive compensation and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure. Please note that the base pay shown is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location. We also offer health plans, including flexible spending accounts, a 401(k) Plan with company match, ESPP, matching donations, a flexible time away plan and family leave programs. Compensation is based on the geographic location in which the role is located and is subject to change based on work location. For individuals who will be working in New York City, there is a pay enhancement for positions located in that geographical area; please contact your recruiter for additional information.
