Position OverviewThe Program Site Director will oversee the day-to-day development, implementation, and operations of the HANAC COMPASS after-school program at PS330Q. This role is responsible for ensuring program compliance, staff supervision, quality improvement, and maintaining all mandated standards under OCFS, NYCPS, and DYCD guidelines.
ResponsibilitiesManage all aspects of after-school, holiday camp, and summer camp operations.
Supervise program staff and participants to ensure safety and compliance.
Maintain accurate reporting in the COMPASS online system; ensure timely submission of required reports.
Oversee payroll procedures, including staff supervision and approvals.
Develop, implement, and monitor program activities, lesson plans, and participant attendance.
Work in close coordination with HANAC Program Supervisors, School Leadership, DYCD, and OCFS representatives.
Hire, train, evaluate, and discipline staff as needed.
Conduct ongoing quality reviews and implement program improvements.
Ensure adherence to all licensing and certification requirements.
Education: BA in Education, Youth Development, or related field (or completion of NYS SACC Credential Course; proof required during hiring).
Experience: Minimum three years of supervisory experience working with elementary school students in a youth development setting.
Strong leadership, organizational, and program management skills.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred.
Must successfully complete OCFS/PETS medical and background clearance.
Must provide a recent medical exam, including proof of PPD test, upon hire.
Monday–Friday | 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Hours may vary depending on program events, trainings, or meetings.
Salary Range: $68,000 – $70,000 annually
