Position Overview

The Program Site Director will oversee the day-to-day development, implementation, and operations of the HANAC COMPASS after-school program at PS330Q. This role is responsible for ensuring program compliance, staff supervision, quality improvement, and maintaining all mandated standards under OCFS, NYCPS, and DYCD guidelines.

Responsibilities
  • Manage all aspects of after-school, holiday camp, and summer camp operations.

  • Supervise program staff and participants to ensure safety and compliance.

  • Maintain accurate reporting in the COMPASS online system; ensure timely submission of required reports.

  • Oversee payroll procedures, including staff supervision and approvals.

  • Develop, implement, and monitor program activities, lesson plans, and participant attendance.

  • Work in close coordination with HANAC Program Supervisors, School Leadership, DYCD, and OCFS representatives.

  • Hire, train, evaluate, and discipline staff as needed.

  • Conduct ongoing quality reviews and implement program improvements.

  • Ensure adherence to all licensing and certification requirements.

Qualifications
  • Education: BA in Education, Youth Development, or related field (or completion of NYS SACC Credential Course; proof required during hiring).

  • Experience: Minimum three years of supervisory experience working with elementary school students in a youth development setting.

  • Strong leadership, organizational, and program management skills.

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred.

  • Must successfully complete OCFS/PETS medical and background clearance.

  • Must provide a recent medical exam, including proof of PPD test, upon hire.

Work Schedule
  • Monday–Friday | 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.

  • Hours may vary depending on program events, trainings, or meetings.

Compensation
  • Salary Range: $68,000 – $70,000 annually
