Meet Slingshot

At Slingshot Aerospace, we're on a mission to make space safer and more secure for everyone. Our work directly impacts global security, disaster response, climate monitoring, and the critical infrastructure that connects our world. We're a team of builders, thinkers, and problem-solvers who believe that the next generation of space operations will be powered by better data and smarter software. We move fast, we're not afraid to fail, and we believe the best ideas can come from anywhere—whether you're in engineering, sales, product, or operations. If you want to work on something that truly matters, with people who care deeply about the impact we're making and help shape the future of an industry that's just getting started, you're in the right place.

What You’ll Be Launching

This Program Scheduler plays a critical role within the Program Management Office and Program Controls function by developing and maintaining Integrated Master Schedules that enable successful execution of government programs. In this role, you will own critical path analysis, monitor performance against schedule baselines, and proactively identify schedule risks before they impact delivery. By translating planned effort into measurable schedule performance and forecasting potential outcomes, you will provide program leadership and government stakeholders with clear visibility into program health. Working closely with Program Managers, you will help integrate multiple project schedules into a cohesive program-level view while maintaining independent ownership of schedule integrity.

We're building a team of sharp, creative people who love solving hard problems. We value curiosity over ego, initiative over waiting for permission, and people who genuinely care about doing great work. Bring your expertise, your fresh ideas, and your drive—we'll bring the rocket fuel.

Your Mission (Should you choose to accept it)

  • Build and maintain resource-loaded schedules in Microsoft Project aligned to contractual baselines
  • Perform ongoing critical path analysis and clearly communicate impacts of changes to scope, resources, or priorities
  • Conduct variance analysis to determine root causes and recommend mitigation strategies
  • Identify leading indicators of schedule risk and escalate material concerns early
  • Support integration of cost and schedule data to ensure alignment across program controls
  • Prepare schedule artifacts and reporting required for customer deliverables
  • Ensure schedule configuration control and data accuracy across systems
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with technical, finance, and operations stakeholders to maintain schedule realism
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of scheduling and program controls processes

Pre-flight Checklist

  • 3–8 years of scheduling, planning, or program controls experience depending on level, or equivalent experience
  • Experience supporting government contracting programs
  • Demonstrated experience developing and maintaining Integrated Master Schedules
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Project
  • Deep understanding of critical path methodology and schedule logic development
  • Experience analyzing SPI, CPI, and related performance metrics
  • Proven ability to identify and proactively manage schedule risks
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment

Bonus Cargo

  • Experience delivering schedules and schedule analysis directly to U.S. government customers
  • Experience integrating multiple project schedules into a Master Program Schedule
  • Experience with NetSuite or similar ERP systems
  • Experience using Jira, Project Interconnect, or similar project tracking and integration tools to link development tasks with program schedules.
  • Active or prior security clearance
  • Professional certification such as PMP, EVP, or related credential

We're building a constellation here, not looking for identical satellites. Every member of the team brings different capabilities to the same mission. If your orbit intersects with ours and you're mission-ready, send it.

What We Do

Slingshot Aerospace builds world-class space simulation and analytics solutions. We are driven by our vision of accelerating space sustainability to create a safer, more connected world.

Space is increasingly complex due to the exponential growth of global launch activity, the proliferation of new data sources, and the ever-growing body of new satellites and debris. Organizations are making mission-critical decisions in this high-risk environment and they need the right information at the right time. Slingshot Aerospace empowers government and commercial space organizations to better design, manage, and safeguard their assets, as well as mitigate risks, to ensure safe and reliable operations for all space-faring users.

We are achieving this by bringing the space domain into the digital environment and fusing together data from different sources to provide a full, dynamic orbital picture. In doing so, Slingshot Aerospace customers can make decisions at the speed of relevance and achieve clarity in complex environments.
