The Programme and Partnerships / Resource Mobilisation Officer is responsible for coordinating the planning, implementation, monitoring, and reporting of Her Future Foundation's (HFF) programmes while leading initiatives to mobilise resources and cultivate strategic partnerships that advance the organisation's mission. The role supports the successful delivery of projects focused on girls' education, gender equality, livelihoods, sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR), climate change, and community development. Working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders, the officer will strengthen donor engagement, secure financial and non-financial resources, develop strategic collaborations, and ensure programmes are delivered effectively, sustainably, and in compliance with organisational and donor requirements.
- Coordinate the planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of HFF programmes to ensure project objectives, timelines, and deliverables are successfully achieved.
- Support the day-to-day management of field activities, including programme implementation at project sites, while ensuring quality, efficiency, and accountability.
- Conduct community mobilisation, stakeholder engagement, beneficiary identification and selection in collaboration with community leaders, government agencies, and implementing partners.
- Develop and monitor programme work plans, implementation schedules, budgets, and activity trackers in collaboration with the Finance and MEAL teams.
- Collect, analyse, and report programme data, ensuring timely preparation of narrative reports, donor updates, success stories, and impact documentation.
- Facilitate capacity-building activities, workshops, training sessions, and community outreach programmes on girls' education, gender equality, youth empowerment, livelihoods, climate resilience, and related thematic areas.
- Ensure safeguarding, child protection, gender inclusion, and organisational policies are integrated and adhered to throughout programme implementation.
- Document programme achievements, lessons learned, best practices, and impact evidence to support continuous improvement and future project design.
- Develop and implement resource mobilisation strategies aimed at diversifying funding sources and strengthening the long-term sustainability of HFF's programmes.
- Identify, research, and pursue funding opportunities from bilateral and multilateral donors, foundations, corporate organisations, development partners, and philanthropic institutions.
- Lead the preparation of high-quality grant proposals, concept notes, funding applications, partnership proposals, and expressions of interest in collaboration with programme and finance teams.
- Build, strengthen, and maintain productive relationships with donors, government institutions, development partners, NGOs, private sector organisations, academic institutions, and other strategic stakeholders.
- Mobilise non-financial resources, including in-kind donations, technical expertise, volunteer support, strategic collaborations, and corporate partnerships to support programme delivery.
- Represent Her Future Foundation at meetings, conferences, networking events, stakeholder engagements, and partnership forums to enhance organisational visibility and identify new collaboration opportunities.
- Track funding opportunities, donor commitments, partnership pipelines, and grant application processes while maintaining accurate records and reporting systems.
- Ensure compliance with donor requirements, branding and visibility guidelines, partnership agreements, and organisational policies throughout programme implementation.
- Collaborate closely with programme, finance, MEAL, communications, and leadership teams to align resource mobilisation efforts with programme priorities and organisational strategy.
- Support the development of organisational partnerships that enhance programme delivery, advocacy, innovation, and sustainability.
- Monitor emerging trends in the development sector, donor priorities, and funding landscapes to identify new opportunities for organisational growth.
- Perform any other duties assigned by management in support of Her Future Foundation's strategic objectives and programme goals.
