ARSIEM is looking for a Program Operations Specialist (AI Division). This position will support one of our Government clients in Columbia, Maryland.

Responsibilities

  • Possesses and applies expertise on multiple complex work assignments.
  • Assignments may be broad in nature, requiring originality and innovation in determining how to accomplish tasks.
  • Operates with appreciable latitude in developing methodology and presenting solutions to problems.
  • Contributes to deliverables and performance metrics where applicable

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree with 3 years’ experience, (OR)
  • Associate's Degree or HS Diploma and 7 years’ experience.
  • Degree must be in Project Management, Business Management, Economics, Political Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Law, Finance/Accounting, Strategic Intelligence or related discipline.
  • Experience providing administrative or operational support in a government or military environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Experience taking meeting minutes and synthesizing information into actionable summaries
  • Coordinate with subordinate JCWA program offices, users and community stakeholders, other DoD organizations, academia, national labs, and Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA).
  • Analyze and provide input for activities that fulfill USCYBERCOM capability requirements through participation in cyberspace-related developmental activities across the Service Cyber Components and USCYBERCOM portfolio.
  • Familiarity with the Defense Travel System (DTS) or similar government travel systems
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Proficiency with Confluence and JIRA
  • Ability to work effectively with senior leaders and diverse stakeholders
  • Monitor quality assurance and ensure products meet established quality standards before delivery.
  • Demonstrated experience inspecting documentation for quality, completeness, and strategic alignment.
  • Experience in dynamic operations environment to ensure short- and long-term objectives are met. 
  • Experience with JIRA, ETMS2, and WMS. 
  • Writing standard operating procedures to include initiation of outlining steps and processes for completing tasks within an organization.
  • Provide clear, accurate, and timely reporting to senior leaders.
  • Communicate across teams and various backgrounds including government PMs, financial managers, and technical teams at various levels.
  • Strong communicator with the ability to synthesize complex information.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to unify disparate teams, simplify complexity, and drive consistent processes.
  • Ability to enforce clarity and accountability.
  • Strong strategic judgment.
  • Comfortable influencing without direct authority.
  • Calm under pressure, decisive operator who works holistically across portfolio with shown strategic judgement and strong, effective communicator. 
  • Demonstrated experience influencing cross-functional teams.

  • Manages tasks while building standard operating procedures to simplify government work.
  • Experience with JIRA/WMS/ETMS2 needed.
  • Coordinate and manage general officer–level meetings, including scheduling, agendas, read-aheads, and logistics
  • Attend meetings as required and take detailed, accurate minutes
  • Translate meeting minutes into clear talking points, action items, and deliverables for senior leaders and staff
  • Track decisions and follow-on actions to ensure timely completion
  • Coordinate and manage all official travel for staff and leadership using the
  • Prepare, review, and submit travel authorizations and vouchers (on DTS)
  • Track, maintain, and update engagement requests on behalf of the Chief AI Officer

Clearance Requirement: This position requires an active TS/SCI with a polygraph. You must be a U.S. citizen for consideration.
 
Candidate Referral: Do you know someone who would be GREAT at this role? The bonus for this position is $3,500,  and the referrer is eligible to receive the sum for any applicant we place within 12 months of referral. The bonus is paid after the referred employee reaches 6 months of employment.
