Our team is diverse, with skillsets and responsibilities ranging from graphic design, content creation and performance marketing to internal communications and loyalty & rewards programs. We work together to provide expertise and guidance, so that the Staples brand is well represented in all areas.

Social media is one of the most visible ways customers, associates, and partners experience the Staples brand. We’re looking for a Program Manager, Social Media to help manage the planning, coordination, and execution of Staples’ social media programs across platforms.

  • Work with Brand, Creative, and Marketing teams to gather assets and ensure social deliverables are ready for publishing.

  • Coordinate publishing across Staples’ social channels, ensuring posts go live accurately and on schedule.

Day-to-Day Social Execution
  • Support the creation and scheduling of posts across platforms including TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, and others.

  • Assist with drafting and editing social copy that reflects Staples’ brand voice.

  • Help ensure social content aligns with platform best practices and formatting.

  • Monitor social channels to ensure posts are performing and flag opportunities or issues to the social team.

Community and Trend Awareness
  • Monitor social conversations, trends, and relevant cultural moments that may present opportunities for engagement.

  • Actively engage with Staples’ social communities by responding to comments, joining relevant conversations, and helping the brand show up authentically online.

  • Proactively comment on relevant posts and conversations across platforms where Staples has a credible role to play.

  • Flag noteworthy conversations, comments, or trends to the social strategy team.

  • Support coordination of creator, influencer, or partner content when needed.

Reporting and Program Support
  • Help track social media performance metrics and assist with reporting on key campaigns and initiatives.

  • Maintain social trackers, calendars, and reporting documents.

  • Assist with social listening and monitoring tools to help identify insights and trends.

Cross-Team Coordination
  • Partner with Marketing, Brand, Creative, and PR teams to support social media needs tied to campaigns and announcements.

  • Coordinate timelines and deliverables with internal teams and external partners when needed.

  • Help ensure social media workflows and processes stay organized and efficient.

What You Bring to the Table:
