Program Manager – Taiwan

Position Summary
The Taiwan Program Manager will lead Forge Nano’s strategic programs within Asia, with a focus on supporting semiconductor customers and regional suppliers. This role bridges U.S. Headquarters, Taiwan operations, and global supply chain partners to ensure the successful delivery of Tephra ALD tools and related nanotechnology solutions. The Program Manager must be capable of managing complex programs in a cross-cultural, fast-paced environment while ensuring compliance with ISO, SEMI, and customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage Taiwan-based customer programs, including TSMC, UMC, and other semiconductor accounts.
• Align Taiwan operations with Forge Nano’s global program portfolio.
• Support global manufacturing readiness, FAT/SAT coordination, and site acceptance in Taiwan.
• Act as the primary liaison between Taiwan customers, local suppliers, and U.S. HQ.
• Ensure program updates are communicated clearly across time zones and cultures.
• Drive collaboration with Taiwan supply chain partners
• Identify regional risks (customs, logistics delays, supplier reliability).
• Develop mitigation strategies to ensure program schedules are maintained.
• Implement Forge Nano program management standards locally.
• Support ISO 9001/SEMI compliance audits and documentation in Taiwan.
• Promote Lean practices and supplier quality improvement with regional vendors.
Education/Experience
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations, or Business; Master’s or PMP preferred.
Experience: 7+ years in program/project management, preferably in semiconductor capital equipment or automation. Experience working with Taiwan’s semiconductor ecosystem (TSMC, UMC, ASE, suppliers).
Skills: Bilingual – fluent in Mandarin and English (written and spoken). Strong leadership, cultural adaptability, and stakeholder management. Knowledge of ERP, Smartsheet/MS Project, and ISO/SEMI standards.
Work Environment
Work is carried out remotely, in a home office, and at customer and vendor locations. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may handle hazardous chemicals at times. The employee will be required to wear all appropriate safety equipment including but not limited to eye protection, gloves, steel toe shoes, lab coat, etc. An employee in this position works in an environment in which safety, environmental and health concerns may demand constant attention. Strict adherence to corporate, vendor, and customer rules and regulations in these areas, is required.

Lifting of containers upwards of 50lbs will be required periodically.
Travel
Regular and frequent travel is expected for this position, with some travel on short notice. Since international travel may also be necessary, all interested applicants must possess a current passport.
Compensation
• 40,000 – 50,000 USD, depending on qualifications
