Emergent builds autonomous coding agents that replace traditional software development by generating, testing, and deploying production applications directly from plain-language intent. Our systems run in production at global scale and are used to build millions of real applications.
Since our public launch, we've crossed $100M in ARR and grown to over 10M users across 190+ countries. We're backed by Khosla Ventures, SoftBank, Google, Lightspeed, Prosus, Together, and Y Combinator.
We're solving the hard part of AI-driven software creation: correctness, reliability, security, and scale in real production systems. The team is built by repeat founders, Olympiad medalists, IIT & IIM alumni, and leaders from Google, Amazon, and Dropbox.
We're hiring builders who want ownership, speed, and impact at global scale.
The Role:
As a Program Manager, you'll turn ambitious company goals into shipped outcomes. You'll own strategic programs end-to-end across teams such as product, customer success, growth, and many more. You'll set the plan, drive the cadence, surface risk early, and keep everyone moving in the same direction. You'll sit close to both the product and the user, and you'll be the person teams trust to make complex, multi-team work actually land.
What You'll Do:
- Own programs end-to-end across teams such as product, customer success, and growth, from scoping and planning through launch and impact, ensuring they ship on time with stakeholders clear on what's happening and why
- Translate company goals into execution by turning priorities like agent reliability, user retention, and time-to-app into clear roadmaps with owners, milestones, and measurable outcomes
- Drive the operating cadence by running planning cycles, reviews, and leadership updates that keep teams aligned and fast, giving leadership a trusted, real-time view of progress, risk, and trade-offs
- Surface and resolve risk early by finding dependencies and blockers before they slip timelines, and driving the decisions that unblock them
- Run programs on reliability and quality to improve agent reliability, app stability, and support quality (fewer production incidents, higher CSAT, faster resolution), and lead retrospectives that fix recurring problems at the root instead of patching them repeatedly
- Scale how we operate by building lightweight, repeatable processes and playbooks that help a fast-growing org move faster without bureaucracy
- Close the loop with users by channeling what users hit in production back into product and engineering priorities
Who You Are:
- Strong organizational and communication skills, and comfort driving clarity amid ambiguity
- Able to influence and align stakeholders without direct authority
- A bias for action and a structured, data-informed approach to decisions
- A track record of taking ownership and reliably delivering on what you commit to
Nice to Have:
- Familiarity with AI/ML products, developer tools, or customer-facing platforms
- A track record of building operating cadences, program frameworks, or processes from the ground up
- A habit of using data and metrics to define success and measure program health
- Experience coordinating launches or reliability and quality programs across multiple teams
Benefits and Perks:
- Daily Meals: Lunch and Dinner provided
- Family Insurance: 3 Lakhs worth of coverage for you and your family
- Unlimited Paid Time Off: Take the time you need to recharge and come back refreshed
- Flexible Working Hours: Work arrangements that fit your life and commitments
