Lead enterprise-level programs and portfolios using standard project management practices (integration, scope, schedule, cost, quality, risk, procurement, communications).
Own program planning and execution including WBS, integrated master schedules, milestones, dependencies and delivery tracking.
Partner with cross-functional and business leaders to manage scope, budgets, resources, risks and cost optimization.
Drive stakeholder management, governance and executive communications to ensure alignment to business objectives.
Lead, coach and develop project managers and people managers; resolve resource conflicts and optimize utilization.
Step in hands-on when required to facilitate ceremonies, clarifying requirements, creating schedules, or managing risks, to ensure program momentum.
Implement and refine project management and Agile standards within the PMO, contributing to the professionalization of processes, tools, and governance.
Lead complex, multi-workstream programs; advise PM leaders and influence portfolio prioritization and investment decisions.
Manage ambiguity, risks and issues while consistently delivering results against aggressive timelines.
Ensure program alignment with organizational strategy, quality systems and operational excellence.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
14-16 years of experience in project and/or program management leading large, complex, cross-functional initiatives.
Proficiency in project and program management tools (Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar).
Proven experience managing enterprise-level budgets, timelines resources, and executive stakeholders.
Demonstrated people leadership experience managing project managers and/or people managers.
Preferred Qualifications:
MBA and/or MS degree.
Professional certifications: PMP, PgMP, PMI-ACP, CSM, or equivalent.
Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies—Scrum, Kanban, hybrid models.
Knowledge of 21 CFR 820.30 (Design Controls), ISO 13485, and software lifecycle processes (IEC 62304).
Prior experience in medical devices.
Experience leading enterprise portfolios or large programs in regulated or quality-driven environments.
