Responsibilities & Duties
- Managing the client relationship and expectations to ensure customer satisfaction related to ongoing delivery of products and services.
- Plan, execute, direct, and control all facets of assigned projects within the terms of the contract
- Deliver direct technical support to customers
- Manage multiple subcontractors
- Develop strong internal and external relationships
- Ensure contract deliverables are on time and within budget
- Ensure high-quality work and excellent results
- Effect growth and maintain a current business base
- Manages programs which have well defined program plans and delivery methodologies.
- Leads all phases of assigned program(s) from initiation through delivery.
- Responsible for decisions that could impact outcomes where erroneous decisions could cause serious schedule delays and expenditure of additional time and resources.
- Ensuring that all information necessary to the customer is provided in a timely manner
- Managing supply/demand plans to ensure all deliverables are coordinated to support on time delivery against UEC commitments.
- Coordinate and deliver quotations to sales organization and/or customers.
- Ensure execution against contractual requirements
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
Qualifications
- Experience in the defense industry and government contracts preferred, Minimum 2-4 years of experience and as a Program Manager
- proven skills to think strategically
- Excellent written and spoken communication
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Well-organized and detail-oriented self-starter
- Travels as required: 10-15%
- Client service mindset
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred; in a technical or business-related discipline
- Strong computer skills to include MS Word, Project, and Excel.
- Solid written/verbal business communication skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate both technical and non-technical concepts.
- Strong knowledge of product pricing, quoting, contracts and contract negotiation.
- Excellent database management, computer and presentation skills.
- Proven ability to provide leadership and guidance to others.
