Program Manager

Location: Neuchâtel, Switzerland

Semtech’s Wireless and Sensing Product Group in Neuchâtel is at the forefront of radio System-on-Chip (SoC) solutions for the Internet of Things (IoT). Our teams develop the world’s lowest power, longest-range wireless solutions, integrating RF front-end technologies with efficient embedded processing to enable highly cost-effective, battery-powered IoT devices.

Working in a collaborative, international environment across Switzerland and France, you will contribute to the development of ultra-compact, feature-rich radio controllers that power a wide range of next-generation sensing applications.

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven IC Program Manager to lead the delivery of complex radio SoC products from concept through to market introduction.

This role is responsible for driving IC design projects, coordinating cross-functional teams, and ensuring successful product development, production transfer, and launch. You will operate within a fast-paced, matrixed environment, balancing technical understanding with strong project leadership and communication skills to meet ambitious timelines and business objectives.

• Act as the primary interface between internal teams for radio IoT chips and associated collaterals, ensuring alignment across geographically distributed teams (20%)
• Coordinate cross-functional engineering teams, working closely with marketing, sales, and applications engineering in a matrix organisation (20%)
• Consolidate project schedules, track key milestones, and lead regular core team meetings using a combination of Waterfall and Agile methodologies (20%)
• Manage the full product lifecycle from specification through design, validation, production transfer, and market introduction, including risk identification and mitigation (20%)
• Drive key approval meetings, design reviews, and stakeholder updates to ensure project progress and alignment (20%)

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• 5+ years of experience in the microelectronics or semiconductor industry
• 3+ years of experience in project or program management using Waterfall and Agile methodologies
• Experience with project management tools (e.g. Jira, MS Project or equivalent)
• Solid understanding of IC design flows; experience with System-on-Chip (SoC) development is advantageous

• Strong ability to collaborate with engineering teams and drive delivery against tight timelines
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and French
• Strong organisational, documentation, and follow-up skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• PMP certification or equivalent project management qualification
