Job Description

Renesas is hiring an Program Manager to join our market-leading AI and infrastructure power team, driving explosive growth across a portfolio of cutting-edge solutions for datacenter, Artificial Intelligence (AI), high-performance networking, and Edge AI client markets.

This team delivers industry-defining products including digital multiphase PWM controllers, smart power stages, high-density power modules, DC/DC regulators, and discrete MOSFETs. As an Associate Program Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in bringing these technologies to market—partnering with cross-functional teams to ensure flawless execution, strategic alignment, and ramp readiness.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive execution of new product releases by aligning diverse teams – Design, Marketing, Systems & Applications, Validation, Product & Test Engineering, Firmware/Software, Supply Chain, Procurement, and Quality – with clear goals and fostering collaboration to achieve shared outcomes.
  • Manage project planning, tracking, and execution from conceptualization through market release, including ramp readiness.
  • Ensure process discipline, budget adherence, and execution efficiency while maintaining focus on priority deliverables and driving standardization with global processes.
  • Co-ordinate and Conduct Project Gate reviews.
  • Motivate and drive cross-functional teams toward flawless execution, positive ROI, and disciplined decision-making.
  • Proactively identify and address risks and obstacles, demonstrating adaptability in complex and ambiguous situations.
  • Oversee wafer fabrication, assembly, test sites, and material logistics to ensure timelines, cost efficiency, quality standards, and smooth project flow.
  • Act as a clear communicator with project team and stakeholders on milestones for sample deliveries, reliability testing and product releases.
  • Build strong relationships internally and externally, reinforcing accountability and alignment through consistent communication.
  • Provide structured updates to management on project status, potential risks, and subsequent actions while maintaining accurate schedules, qualification/reliability plans, and program management tracking systems.
  • Enhance process standardization and scalability to strengthen execution discipline.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Demonstrate interest in semiconductor technology and product lifecycle management.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities.
  • Effective communicator with proven skills in cross-functional collaboration.
  • Self-motivated, inquisitive, and committed to personal development.
  • Proficient in MS Office and project management tools.

Preferred Qualifications

  • ~3 years of experience in the Semiconductor industry.
  • Foundational knowledge of Program/Project Management knowledge (coursework, certification, or equivalent).
  • Experience leading multifaceted, cross-functional projects and driving progress in ambiguous environments.
  • Advanced stakeholder management, communication, and collaboration capabilities.
  • Ability to quickly master new tools and processes.
  • Analytical approach with strong time and priority management skills.
