Job DescriptionThe Program Manager will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of automotive programs, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and customer requirements. This role requires a high level of collaboration, leadership, and technical knowledge to manage complex projects from inception to completion, while maintaining quality, schedule, and budget standards.

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Program Leadership & Strategy:
Lead and manage multiple automotive programs, ensuring they align with business goals, customer needs, and technical requirements. Develop strategic roadmaps for program execution and delivery. - Cross-functional Collaboration:
Work closely with engineering, sales, product development, manufacturing, supply chain, and quality teams to ensure the successful execution of program milestones. Facilitate communication and resolve any conflicts or issues that may arise. - Project Planning & Execution:
Create detailed project plans, timelines, and monitor and control budgets for automotive programs. Ensure that all program deliverables are met on time, within scope, and within budget. Monitor progress and adjust plans as necessary to address any challenges or risks. - Risk Management:
Identify and mitigate potential risks to program success. Proactively resolve issues related to resources, timelines, and technical challenges. - Stakeholder Management:
Maintain effective communication with key stakeholders, including customers, senior management, suppliers, and other departments. Provide regular updates on program progress, status, and any potential issues or delays. - Quality & Compliance:
Ensure that all automotive programs meet industry standards, regulatory requirements, and internal quality standards. Work closely with the quality assurance team to implement corrective actions and continuous improvement processes adhering to Methode Product Development Program Launch System. - Resource Management:
Manage program resources, including team members, suppliers, and vendors. Ensure that all teams are properly staffed and have the necessary tools and support to achieve program objectives. - Program Cost and Profitability Management:
Manage and monitor program costs and financial status.
Develop and execute strategies to drive margin improvements
Minimum Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Automotive, Business, or a related field. A Master’s degree or PMP certification is a plus.
- 5+ years of experience in program management within the automotive industry, with a proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and managing complex automotive programs.
- Strong project management skills, with experience managing large, complex programs.
- Expertise in automotive product development, manufacturing, and supply chain processes.
- Proficient in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, etc.).
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to influence and lead teams in a collaborative environment.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and compliance requirements.
Organization Structure:
The Program Manager, regardless of other duties has a direct responsibility to the Program Manager Director
