About You:
The ideal candidate for this role is a strategic problem solver and change leader with a strong background in operational governance, performance evaluation, and leadership influence. They are passionate about driving business transformation and have the ability to align operational execution with long-term business goals.
Change Program Leadership & Implementation:
Design and implement structured change management programs to drive operational improvements across the site.
Ensure that transformation initiatives are optimally communicated, adopted, and sustained within the organization.
Apply data-driven insights to measure the success of change programs and adjust strategies as needed.
Collaborate with vital team members to align change initiatives with business goals and operational priorities.
Governance & Performance Evaluation:
Establish and oversee a governance framework to assess and optimize the effectiveness of operational site teams.
Develop and supervise Key Performance Indicators (critical metrics) to evaluate team efficiency, effectiveness, and alignment with business goals.
Conduct regular performance reviews and operational audits to identify improvement opportunities.
Provide senior leadership with data-backed insights and recommendations for operational improvements.
Talent Development & Business Perspective:
Act as a strategic mentor and coach for talent seeking to grow into leadership roles within the organization.
Design and implement structured development programs to expose high-potential employees to key business challenges and leadership experiences.
Partner with HR and department heads to build career pathways and succession plans for emerging leaders.
Foster a culture of collaboration, ownership, and eye for business among operational teams.
Partner Engagement & Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with operations, finance, HR, and leadership teams to align strategies and drive cross-functional initiatives.
Facilitate collaborative problem-solving sessions to address operational inefficiencies and drive performance improvements.
Act as a change agent by promoting an attitude of agility, adaptability, and continuous learning across the organization.
Continuous Improvement & Best Practices:
Lead the adoption of Operational Excellence methodologies, including Lean, Six Sigma, and Agile frameworks, to improve efficiency and performance.
Benchmark standard processes within and outside the industry to ensure our tequila distilleries remains at the forefront of operational excellence.
Identify and implement digital tools and analytics to improve decision-making and governance processes.
Experience required/Skills/Capabilities/Languages:

Experience setting up process and manufacturing strategies.

At least 3 years’ experience as a department manager with proven leadership skills.

Typically educated to degree standard in chemical engineering, food chemical or relevant equivalent and or science related.

Good knowledge of Quality systems implementation and improvement tools such as; TPM, ManEx, Six Sigma, etc.

Knowledge of governance frameworks, operational performance metrics, and process optimization.
