Program Manager
Status: Exempt

About the role
In this role, to support a new contract in DoD client. You will also be responsible for helping managing the contract, including requirements analysis, design, development, testing and evaluation, installation, operations, and the accreditation of a mobile cloud compute solution. The successful candidate is an experienced System Engineer and has a background with information security and working with government clients. You’ll move quickly in a fast-paced and fluid environment to drive implementation across clients from inception to delivery.
Responsibilities:
• Support briefings, meetings and communicating recommendations and contract status verbally and in writing as required.
• Perform oversight and management of all contractor activities.
• Develop short and long-term strategy goals and objectives for the team and provide resources to assist in the execution of each.
• Manage a wide range of IT technicians across many different areas of technology.
• Serve as a Government’s point of contact for status and questions.
• Prepare and present written communications, plans, reports and briefing materials.
• Establish, document, and managing the scope, schedule, and resources for projects and sustaining activities.
• Performing an integrated Program Management function to ensure effective cost, schedule, and technical requirements are achieved.
• Identify and resolve problems and risks that could adversely impact performance, cost and/or delivery schedule.
• Address risks and issues within the IT environment.
• Identify risks, gather information, and recommend solutions as appropriate.
• Familiarity with the Software Development Life Cycle.
Qualifications:
Required Experience
• Must have a minimum of 2 of the following certifications:
o PMP, PgMP, ITIL Foundations, COMPTIA A+, Network+, Security+, CSM (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
• Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent level of experience
• Experience with DoD Information Assurance processes and standards, including Risk Management Framework, STIGs, or NIST
• Must have at least 15 years of relevant experience
• Security Clearance Requirement: Must have a fully adjudicated DOD Public Trust clearance or higher
Preferred Experience
• Proven success in managing a teams of individuals with various degrees of experience.
• 10+ years of contract and contractor management.
• Familiarity with the Software Development Life Cycle.
• Completed multiple system accreditations in DoD environments
