You are a seasoned Program Manager with a strong foundation in enterprise product environments and startup dynamics. You bring a unique mix of strategic foresight and hands-on expertise, especially within cross-functional teams. Your experience in both enterprise product companies and startup environments has equipped you with the flexibility to adapt and thrive in fast-paced settings. Holding an MBA from a Tier I or Tier II institution, you have refined business acumen and a clear approach to aligning project goals with larger organizational objectives.
Responsibilities
- OKR Execution: Oversee and ensure the successful execution of team OKRs, providing guidance to align tasks and milestones with organizational goals.
- Dependency Management: Identify and prioritize internal and cross-functional dependencies, proactively unblocking team members to optimize outcomes and prevent delays.
- Visibility and Communication: Maintain transparent, up-to-date insights into project status, enabling stakeholders to understand progress and any bottlenecks at a glance.
- Outcome Presentation: Present quarterly or sprint outcomes to key stakeholders and broader audiences, highlighting successes, challenges, and lessons learned.
- Workflow and Ticket Management: Ensure all project tickets are accurately documented with appropriate story points, follow the correct workflow, and contribute to smooth execution across teams.
- Sprint Efficiency Metrics: Track and present sprint efficiency metrics, providing valuable data for performance reviews, ratings, and constructive feedback.
- Sprint Planning: Lead sprint planning sessions, setting clear objectives and ensuring resources are allocated to meet team goals effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum of 12 years in program management, with experience in enterprise product companies for at least 4 years and startup environments for at least 4 years.
- MBA from a Tier I or Tier II college.
- Demonstrated expertise in sprint planning, dependency prioritization, and outcome-based project execution.
- Ability to analyze and present sprint metrics, using insights to guide team improvements and support reviews.
- Strong skills in managing cross-functional dependencies, providing visibility, and facilitating effective communication with all stakeholders.
- Skilled in ensuring proper story points, ticket workflows, and efficiency metrics are in place for seamless project execution.
- Should have proficiency in project management tools such as Jira and Asana, with a strong understanding of Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban
- Nice to have skills in data analysis and reporting using tools like Excel, Tableau, or Power BI, along with familiarity with communication and collaboration tools like Slack and Confluence.
- Should have basic technical knowledge in software development processes, cloud platforms like AWS and Azure, and DevOps principles.
- Nice to have the ability to assess risks, create contingency plans, and effectively align stakeholders, managing expectations across various organizational levels.
