Overview

The Project Management area is responsible for leading a team, typically cross-functional teams, to achieve project goals and requirements. Work with project teams and stakeholders to plan, execute, monitor, and control the project. Manage resources, budget, cost, time, quality, risks and other constraints. The Program Manager provides support to country offices and teams to enable the success of TNS international development programs.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver business outcomes within defined program.
  • Coordinate and enforce project standards within program area.
  • Manage cross project dependencies and issues across projects within the program.
  • Communicate appropriately to program stakeholders.
  • Serve as main point of contact and project manager on a portfolio of overseas country offices and/or complex international development projects.
  • Coordinate between project and home office teams to promote operational efficiency and adherence to organizational best practices, facilitating regular reviews to improve project workflow.
  • Ensure all activities and operations maintain compliance with contractual and governmental regulations, (e.g.,IT security and accessibility rules, local laws, etc.).
  • Actively engage in problem-solving, risk identification, and risk mitigation during project implementation.
  • Monitor and manage project budgets, timekeeping compliance, and client financial reporting in collaboration with the Finance unit and project teams.
  • Contribute to development of project deliverables, including work plans or service requests as applicable, and ensure quality assurance/editing on documents and reports prior to submission.
  • Promote team awareness of TNS policies and ensure compliance with Quality Management Systems and project management procedures.
  • Provide inputs and recommendations to develop, refine, and improve global systems and processes, in coordination with other TNS units (i.e., Finance, People & Culture, Operations, Security, etc.)

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 7 years Telecom related experience required
  • 2+ years experience with international programs
  • Formal Project Methodology training e.g. PMP
  • Experience with product life cycle
  • Degree in a technically related discipline (IT, Telecommunications, Software Engineering)
  • Excellent verbal communication and writing skills, including expert cross-cultural communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to oversee and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Superior management and organizational skills
  • Proven track record of proactive risk management and mitigation
  • For this role, we anticipate paying $144,000k-$176,000k annually. Any compensation range provided for this role is an estimate determined by available market data. The actual amount may be higher or lower than the range provided considering each candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities, and geographic location.
