KBR is seeking an experienced Program Manager (PM) to lead the execution and growth of a single award IDIQ where we are a JV partner. This is an in person position located in Orlando FL.
The Program Manager will serve as the primary leader responsible for program execution, customer engagement, financial performance, strategic growth, and team development. The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of program delivery while expanding customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and maintaining exceptional customer satisfaction across the Army Test and Evaluation community.
Job Summary
The Program Manager is responsible for the overall leadership, execution, and performance of the program. The PM will oversee day-to-day operations, strategic planning, customer engagement, financial performance, risk management, and successful delivery of all contractual requirements. This individual will serve as the primary interface with government customers, subcontractors, and KBR leadership, ensuring program objectives are achieved while meeting or exceeding customer expectations.
In addition to program execution responsibilities, the Program Manager will play a critical role in customer relationship management, business growth, and strategic engagement activities across CPE ST3, ATEC, and related Army modernization organizations. The successful candidate will help identify and shape future opportunities, support innovative acquisition strategies, maintain exceptional CPARS ratings, and position KBR for continued growth within the Orlando market.
The ideal candidate will bring a balance of program execution excellence and growth leadership, with experience engaging senior Government stakeholders, supporting acquisition efforts utilizing Other Transaction Authority (OTA) and Commercial Solutions Opening (CSO) mechanisms, and identifying opportunities to transition emerging technologies into operational capabilities.
Roles and Responsibilities
· Direct and oversee all aspects of program execution, ensuring successful delivery of contractual requirements while meeting cost, schedule, technical, and quality objectives.
· Serve as the primary interface with customers, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders while maintaining trusted relationships across Government, industry, and partner organizations.
· Lead program planning, execution, sustainment, staffing, budgeting, resource allocation, risk management, and strategic initiatives that support long-term customer and business objectives.
· Ensure implementation of program plans, policies, procedures, quality standards, contractual compliance requirements, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.
· Coordinate closely with engineering, manufacturing, quality, contracts, supply chain, finance, and support organizations to resolve issues and ensure mission success.
· Lead customer and internal reviews including TIMs, PMRs, IPTs, executive reviews, and program staff meetings while communicating performance, risks, and corrective actions.
· Oversee development and execution of Integrated Master Schedules (IMS), SDRLs, status reports, spend plans, customer billing, revenue recognition inputs, and program performance reporting.
· Develop and communicate executive-level dashboards, metrics, and visual management tools that provide actionable insights into program performance, customer priorities, acquisition activities, and growth initiatives.
· Advise Government leaders on acquisition strategies, innovation pathways, technology transition efforts, and execution approaches that accelerate capability delivery and mission outcomes.
· Lead customer engagement activities across Army, DoW, and related organizations to strengthen strategic relationships, identify emerging requirements, and enhance KBR's reputation and market presence.
· Identify, qualify, shape, and support capture of new business opportunities including task orders, follow-on efforts, production opportunities, contract expansions, and adjacent growth initiatives.
· Support business development, capture, proposal, and partnership activities through customer engagement, market analysis, competitive assessments, demonstrations, executive briefings, workshops, and industry engagements.
· Monitor modernization priorities, acquisition programs, emerging technologies, and market trends to identify opportunities aligned with customer needs and strategic growth objectives.
· Provide strategic insight and recommendations to leadership regarding customer priorities, program performance, competitive landscapes, pipeline health, and future business opportunities.
Basic Qualifications
· Must be a U.S. Citizen.
· Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Engineering, or a related field.
· 10+ years of experience leading complex defense, government, or technology programs.
· Demonstrated experience managing large-scale portfolios, programs, or contracts with responsibility for cost, schedule, performance, and risk management.
· Experience leading cross-functional teams and coordinating activities across operations, contracting, finance, engineering, and business development organizations.
· Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with government customers, industry partners, and internal stakeholders.
· Experience developing and executing strategic growth initiatives, identifying new business opportunities, and supporting capture activities.
· Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills with the ability to engage senior leaders and customers.
· Experience managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while delivering results on schedule.
· Ability to analyze complex problems, develop practical solutions, and drive execution to completion.
· Active Secret security clearance or the ability to obtain and maintain one.
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and program management tools.
Preferred Qualifications
· Experience supporting Army, DoW, or Federal Government programs.
· Knowledge of Other Transaction Authority (OTA), Commercial Solutions Openings (CSO), and non-traditional acquisition strategies.
· Program Management Professional (PMP) certification and/or DAWIA certification.
Salary Range: $115,000 to $185,000
This salary range posted is based on Orlando, FL. The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s location, knowledge, skills, abilities, and/or experience, contract affordability, and in consideration of internal parity.
