Essential Job Statements
The Program Manager will recruit and support 25 residents for the project from the Petersburg Tri‑Cities region, strengthen healthcare career pathways, and deepen collaboration with both existing and new community partners.
The program manager will be responsible for meeting with VCUHS human resources, department leaders, and community partners to help program participants achieve their academic goals and provide entry level jobs for high school, community college, and certificate program graduates to enter the health workforce.
The program manager will engage with VCU Health System leaders and human resources to assess hiring trends and workforce needs.
The Program Manager will meet with Reynolds and Brightpoint community colleges, and affiliated workforce development divisions, high schools, technical centers, and community partners to discuss and develop the workforce development operational plans for pipeline programs.
The program manager will execute marketing campaigns and events to drive participation in community workforce programs.
The program manager will assess and adjust the strategy to support changing community needs, and emerging opportunities in the healthcare workforce.
The program manager will implement and launch programs and report program outcomes and milestone data.

Required Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, education, human resources, or a related field from an accredited program
