Daikin Applied is hiring a Supply Chain Program Manager! As the leader of the Value Management Team, the Program Manager is responsible for leading key initiatives that drive measurable financial results, operational excellence, and cross-functional collaboration. This role partners with EHS, Finance, Operations, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Business Leaders to identify, prioritize, and execute strategic cost optimization opportunities while ensuring projects are delivered on time and sustained over the long term. The Program Manager serves as the central coordinator for the Value Management portfolio, establishing governance, facilitating executive reviews, tracking financial performance, and driving continuous improvement across the organization through disciplined program management and data-driven decision making.

The Value Management Team is comprised of dedicated workstreams, which include Systems Enablement, Financial Integration, Operational Capability, Compliance & Sustainability, and Sourcing Operations. What you will do:

  • Lead and manage Supply Chain Compliance, Supplier Risk Management, and strategic sourcing programs
  • Develop and execute program strategies, objectives, metrics, and governance processes to support business goals
  • Assess, monitor, and mitigate supplier risks related to financial health, operational performance, quality, and business continuity
  • Oversee the development, maintenance, governance, and continuous improvement of Integrated Supply Chain (ISC) process documentation, policies, procedures, work instructions, and standard operating practices
  • Leverage Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies to identify and implement sustainable process enhancements
  • Support sourcing initiatives through market analysis, supplier evaluations, RFPs, project support, and cost-saving opportunities
  • Provide analytical support, dashboards, KPIs, and actionable insights to support supply chain decision-making and performance improvement
  • Develop, implement, and maintain the Integrated Supply Chain (ISC) Training Program to strengthen organizational capabilities and employee development
  • Manage the ISC Summer Intern Program, including recruiting support, onboarding, project assignments, mentoring, and talent pipeline development
  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team, including performance management, career development, succession planning, and early-career talent growth
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to drive continuous improvement, compliance, supply chain resilience, and operational excellence

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business Administration, Engineering, Finance, or related field
  • 8+ years of experience in Supply Chain, Operations, Business administration, Engineering, Finance or a related field
  • 4+ years of people leadership experience
  • Strong program and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple complex initiatives simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams without direct authority.
  • Strong financial acumen, including savings validation, ROI analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and business case development.
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and develop actionable recommendations.
  • Excellent executive communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience developing KPIs, dashboards, and executive reporting.
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization tools.
  • Ability to influence decision-making across multiple levels of the organization.
  • Knowledge of Lean, Continuous Improvement, and structured problem-solving methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Professional certifications such as PMP, CPSM, Lean Six Sigma
  • Experience leading enterprise cost reduction or value management programs
  • Experience within manufacturing or industrial supply chain environments
  • Experience with ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, etc.) and procurement platforms (Coupa preferred)
  • Experience developing executive-level reporting and portfolio governance
  • Knowledge of strategic sourcing, supplier management, and procurement best practices
  • Experience facilitating executive steering committees and enterprise change initiatives

The range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls is $100,800 - $171,700 + 15% bonus in Minnesota. The typical pay rate for this position is $135,000 - $140,000. Individual pay rate will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
