Program Manager

Stanley Access Technologies is looking for a Program Manager to work as part of a highly engaged small team within a global organization of 12,000+ employees, representing 30+ brands (including Schlage, Von Duprin and LCN) focused on safety, security, and access management.  As a Program Manager, you will oversee and manage multiple programs within our organization.  You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery, alignment with strategic objectives and effective resource allocation.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, execute and manage projects from initiation to closure, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets and quality standards
  • Use the Product Development Gate Process to manage projects
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans including schedules, resource allocation and risk assessment.
  • Lead cross-functional teams providing guidance, motivation and support to ensure project success
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential risks and implement appropriate mitigation strategies
  • Coordinate and facilitate effective communication among team members, stakeholders and senior management
  • Conduct regular project status meetings and provide timely update to stakeholders
  • Manage project budgets, track expenses and ensure cost control measures are in place
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and document project requirements, ensuring alignment with Organizational goals
  • Ensure Project documentation is accurate, up to date and readily accessible to team members
  • Evaluate project outcomes and identify areas for improvement, implementing lessons learned in future projects
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience
  • Bachelor’s degree is required, Master’s degree is preferred
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager or in a similar role, managing complex projects and programs
  • Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels
  • Solid understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound decisions in a fast paced environment
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills can prioritize and manage multiple programs simultaneously.
  • Proficient in project management software and tools
  • PMP certification or equivalent preferred
