The Force Protection Division, within the Homeland and Force Protection Business Area, is seeking an experienced Program Manager for a program supporting the Special Operations Forces (SOF) community. In this role you will support the Customer, its strategic partners, and partner nations with mission accomplishment by providing integrated operational support across the full cycle of SOF support (i.e., staff, train, exercise, educate, organize, sustain, and overall mission support) to conduct special operations. Support for SOF is tailored to the situation and mission with flexibility to withstand dynamic Operational Environments (OEs). Support arrangements often cross service lines to utilize unique capabilities and sustain independent and low visibility operations in austere and remote areas. This support spans all physical domains including air, land, maritime, space, and cyberspace; encompasses all branches of the U.S. Armed Forces; and includes Information Warfare (IW) and Electronic Warfare (EW) support.
What you’ll be doing:
- Lead and manage a team of experts that provides our SOF clients a wide range of professional services that inform the adoption and development of innovative technology and procedural solutions and capabilities designed to address warfighter mission needs across the SOF Intelligence enterprise.
- Provide Customer and its strategic partners with planning, analysis, experimentation, management, and concept testing to develop capabilities that meet operational challenges which assist the government in identifying material and nonmaterial solutions that address those challenges.
- Provide overall leadership and guidance for all contractor personnel assigned to the task order including assigning tasks to contractor personnel, supervising on-going technical efforts, and managing overall to performance.
- Responsible for the quality and efficiency of the task order, to include both technical issues and business processes.
- Plan and provide program and project management support and the contractor personnel resources necessary to support the task order.
- Manage and oversee all activities performed by contractor personnel, including subcontractors and teaming partners, to satisfy the requirements identified by the government.
- Serve a technical SME for recruiting and assessing candidates for the program.
- Commit Leidos resources as needed to satisfy task order requirements.
- Serve as a senior advisor to senior military and government leaders and staff at client site.
What does Leidos need from me?
- Current Top Secret/SCI (TS/SCI) security clearance required.
- Active Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Professional (PMP) or PMI Program Management Professional (PgMP®) Certification.
- Bachelor's degree or higher education. 15 plus years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
- A minimum ten years of senior leadership or program management experience planning, directing, coordinating, and managing efforts of similar (SOF) scope and complexity to this effort.
- Willing to work from Fayetteville, NC / Fort Liberty area and travel to CONUS and OCONUS locations (up to 10%).
- Must be able to effectively communicate both orally and written.
Favorable if you have:
- Extensive knowledge of SOF structure, mission, goals, and core activities.
- Ten years senior leadership or program management experience with manpower utilization, procurement of Materials and Equipment, standards, training, problem resolution, and employee relations (including subcontractors), cost, budget, and managing performance to milestones.
- Experience supporting SOF operations or intelligence community.
- Experience managing projects and/or programs with multiple OCONUS performance locations, including experience with NATO SOFA requirements, hazardous duty location deployment requirements, and DoD mobilization requirements.
- Experience working at or above the Combatant Command level.
- Experience managing cost-plus contracts.
- Experience supporting a GSA/FEDSIM contract.
- Knowledge and experience with Federal Acquisition Regulations and USSOCOM Dir 70-1.

Pay Range:Pay Range $148,850.00 - $269,075.00
The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
