AirTrunk’s social impact program focuses on driving long-term positive social and environmental impact in Asia Pacific & Japan through initiatives in STEM education, digital equity, biodiversity and conservation, and sustainable innovation.

As the Program Manager, Social Impact, based in our HQ in North Sydney, you will report to the Social Impact Senior Manager and work closely with various teams across APJ, including People & Culture, making your mark in a number of ways:

  • Elevating Social Impact: Support our social impact efforts and drive meaningful change in the communities where we operate.
  • Program Management: Ensure the successful delivery of our social impact partners’ programs, maintaining operational excellence and compliance.
  • Employee Engagement: Lead programs that connect employees with partners and communities, enhancing engagement and impact.

Your Day to Day

  • Program Management: Manage our social impact partner programs, ensuring they are delivered on-time, on budget and to a high standard. This includes day-to-day program management, budget oversight, and act as the primary point of contact for our corporate purpose platform
  • Employee Engagement: Collaborate with the People & Culture team to implement and manage employee engagement initiatives, driving participation in social impact activities across AirTrunk’s offices and regions. Oversee daily operations and enhance engagement in programs like volunteering, charitable giving, and key employee forums and networks.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with social impact partners, community organisations, and non-profits to ensure delivery and program effectiveness, and expand engagement opportunities.
  • Program Evaluation: Monitor and assess the effectiveness of programs and initiatives, using data and feedback for continuous improvement, and coordinate partner reporting.
  • Communication: Collaborate with Communications & Marketing to raise awareness and participation in social impact programs.
  • Event Coordination: Organise and facilitate events and activities that promote social impact and foster team collaboration.
  • Budget Management: Track the budget for employee engagement programs, ensuring efficient resource allocation and financial accountability.
  • Additional Projects: Support and lead additional projects and activities, as needed, to advance our social impact objectives and employee engagement.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years in program management with a focus on community engagement or social impact.
  • Relevant tertiary qualification (e.g., project management, social impact, sustainability, corporate social responsibility).
  • Strong project/program management skills with a track record of delivering projects from concept to execution, on time, within budget and to a high standard.
  • Experience with non-profit or corporate philanthropy sectors, preferably across Asia Pacific & Japan.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain effective relationships with diverse stakeholders, including community organisations and NGOs.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with an appreciation for regional differences and the ability to engage and inspire both internal and external audiences.
  • Experience in measuring and reporting on social impact performance and using data to drive decision-making.
  • Passion for sustainability, social responsibility, employee engagement, and making a positive impact on society.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently, take initiative, and manage ambiguity effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, Excel) and experience using Benevity or similar platforms to manage grants and workplace giving.
