About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Scrum Master to lead and optimize project delivery across our business, training development, technical writing, and LMS administration teams. This pivotal role requires a deep understanding of the entire project lifecycle within a WTS framework, from initial concept to successful deployment. You will be instrumental in fostering collaboration, driving efficiency, and ensuring timely project completion by guiding sprint processes and facilitating key meetings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Project Leadership: Champion agile methodologies, ensuring all Scrum events are productive and aligned with overarching project goals.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as the central point of contact, harmonizing efforts between diverse teams and managing stakeholder expectations.

  • Process Optimization: Proactively identify and implement improvements to our development processes, enhancing efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Risk Management & Resolution: Monitor project progress, identify potential blockers, and strategically escalate issues to ensure smooth project flow.

  • Reporting & Transparency: Provide clear, concise, and regular updates on project status, highlighting achievements, challenges, and strategic adjustments.

  • Tool & System Governance: Oversee the effective use and configuration of project management tools to support streamlined workflows and data integrity.

Minimum qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (often preferred in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field) OR equivalent practical experience.

  • 2–3 years of experience serving as a Scrum Master or in a similar Agile role (e.g., Agile Coach, Team Lead).

  • Entry-level Scrum Master certification, such as:

  • Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) from Scrum Alliance,Professional Scrum Master I (PSM I) from Scrum.org

  • Deep understanding of Scrum framework, events, artifacts, and roles.

  • Proficiency in agile tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Trello).

  • Strong servant leadership, facilitation, and coaching skills.

  • Excellent communication and conflict-resolution skills.

Preferred qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master, especially with multiple teams or complex, large-scale projects.

  • Previous experience working with safety-critical or embedded systems development.

  • Experience with scaling Agile (e.g., SAFe, LeSS, Nexus).

  • Advanced-level certifications, such as:

  • Advanced Certified ScrumMaster (A-CSM) or Certified Scrum Professional (CSP-SM)

  • Professional Scrum Master II (PSM II) or PSM III

  • SAFe Scrum Master (SSM) or SAFe Advanced Scrum Master (SASM)

  • Proven ability to mentor, coach, and enact organizational change to foster a high-performance culture.
