Overview 

This role is responsible for managing integration activities across the sales and marketing functional areas of a large enterprise organization. This requires strategic planning, coordination, facilitation and overseeing the successful delivery of multiple program deliverables including overall results and strategizing with necessary stakeholders. Responsibilities include establishing and maintaining relevant systems, strategy, documentation, reports, and processes. This position ideally will be based in Stamford, CT and in office four days per week.  We will consider remote candidates who are willing to regularly travel.


Responsibilities 

  • Manages the entire project lifecycle from project definition through implementation. 
  • Manages multiple projects and programs and orchestrates the results to achieve a broad program goal.
  • Aligns project delivery with broader strategic initiatives and goals.
  • Accountable for meeting agreed upon scope, cost, schedule and quality measures.
  • Ensure that governance controls are in place.  
  • Develops project plan and drives project milestones.
  • Establishes effective communication plan with project team and key stakeholders.
  • Provides day-to-day direction to project resources.
  • Identify, track and report program KPIs to assess impact
  • Coordinate, manage and monitor workflow of the cross-functional teams
  • Provide and perform quality assurance checks on project artifacts and deliverables
  • Facilitate and lead project meetings and discussions with stakeholders at all levels
  • Consistently exercise informed judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
  • Maintains awareness of trends, business conditions and internal process and practices impacting component projects or overall program.
  • Ensures effective change management occurs throughout the course of the project. 
  • Responsible for preparation of documentation, status reports and budgets. Work with management to review, optimize and document repeatable and effective program management
  • Build program documentation such as Program Charter, Risk Log, Trackability Matrix, Status Reports, Project Plans, Budget/Forecast or KPI Dashboard
Requirements

Requirements

Candidates must have strong experience in project or program management, process optimization, executive level communications, and KPI analysis and reporting gained through managing large and complex projects. Candidates must have the following:

  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience of project and/or program management including building project budgets/forecasts and KPIs, and analyzing processes to identify areas of optimization and improvement
  • Strong knowledge of project and program management methodology and techniques
  • Must have extensive knowledge of marketing functions including branding, marcom, marketing sciences, market research, pricing and promotions, marketing technology, etc.
  • Must have extensive knowledge of sales functions including channels, account management, customer prospecting and targeting, forecasting, territory management, CRM platforms, etc. 
  • Ability to work positively with the wide range of individuals
  • Strong leadership, stakeholder, and management skills, coupled with ability to individually contribute all duties and responsibilities outlined here
  • Excellent oral and written communications, interpersonal, negotiation, project planning, judgment, leadership, decision-making, analysis and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven experience with Excel, PowerPoint, Smartsheet, Jira, Visio, etc.
  • Strong analytics and reporting skills
  • Ability to process information quickly and present it in a succinct and insightful format suitable for executives

Education & Certifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required preferably in Business, IT, Computer Science, or Finance
  • PMP certification is helpful
