Program Manager, People Operations- Talent Management

ImpactAs a Program Manager, People Operations-Talent Management, located in Birmingham, AL, or Minneapolis, Minnesota, you will lead and grow our Talent Management capability (including but not limited to Performance Management, Succession Planning and Internal Mobility). You will identify opportunities, address gaps and implement tactics that will deliver desired results aligned to Shipt's business goals. You will assess interdependencies and collision points and recommend sequencing of work to accelerate progress. Also, you will serve as an influential partner to all levels of the organization including C-Suite leadership acting as a consultant and implementer to drive impact for the organization.
While no two days are the same, you will deliver complex, large-scale Human Resources and Talent Management programs from initiation through delivery. Develop reporting with the right partners to build the infrastructure for monitoring and assessing program effectiveness. You will independently manage project plans, strategies, and execution of Talent Management programs while coordinating with cross-functional teams. Expertly execute all aspects of project management from the small to the large. Review industry trends and external benchmarking to proactively identify and recommend continuous improvements related to your program ownership. Lastly, you will act as a peer mentor on the People Operations team.

• You have 3+ years of experience leading high scope projects and working with cross-functional teams.
• You have 3+ years of experience working within a Human Resources and/or Talent Management function
• You are comfortable with taking risks, challenging the status quo and working under ambiguous circumstances to achieve results
• You have experience navigating through complex problems, analyze processes, synthesize data and results and drive toward solutions
• You have excellent ability to problem solve and present solution oriented plans
• You are capable of owning the business for which you are responsible and providing appropriate updates, plans and gaining input from critical stakeholders
• You have strong written and oral communication and presentation skills
• You are competent in project management; has the ability to manage many priorities and tight deadlines

Work Arrangement

Shipt considers candidates located near a Shipt office or workspace in Birmingham, San Francisco, or Minneapolis to be hybrid, which means that they have the flexibility to work from home (with leader approval) or at a Shipt office in order to facilitate the ability to innovate, collaborate, and spark team connections. Employees will also be eligible to receive discretionary vacation for exempt team members, paid holidays throughout the calendar year and paid sick leave.  Other compensation includes eligibility for an annual bonus and the potential for restricted stock units based on role.

Pay Range:

$88,000-$176,000

All other locations:

$73,000-$147,000

Please note that the salary range above is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies, and work location.
