Job Description:

Program Manager - Participant Direction Coordinator, LTSS

Location: This position will work a hybrid model (remote and office) in Indianapolis, Indiana. The ideal candidate will live within 50 miles of the Elevance Health Pulse Point location.

The Program Manager - Participant Direction Coordinator will be responsible for the development and ongoing management of the Participant Directed Attendant Care Services (PDACS) program within LTSS for the new Indiana PathWays for Aging program. This role will support the training, oversight, monitoring, and coordination of the PDACS program in partnership with internal and external service coordination as well as the state identified Financial Management Services (FMS) Entities. The Program Manager will be responsible for identifying education opportunities and developing new initiatives to meet the changing needs of the individuals we support. This role will provide guidance on development of self-direction focused quality and satisfaction improvement initiatives and will regularly meet with the corporate Self Direction lead and the state selected FMS Entities to ensure compliance with state contractual agreements.

How you will make an impact:

  • Manages and coordinates the development, approval, implementation, and compliance of the Participant Directed Attendant Care program; ensures program meets its stated objectives; provides subject matter expertise in response to day-to-day external client facing business issues.
  • Research applicable subject matter practices and remains aware of industry trends and best practices.
  • Manages external client facing relationships and partners with corporate and regional business areas.
  • Coordinates training related to external client facing program; develops program success measures and performs periodic assessments of program success.
  • Collaborates with the FMS to ensure that all payments are correctly processed in accordance with contractual requirements, follow up on any payment processing issues and facilitate resolution of issues as they arise.

Minimum Requirements:

Requires a BA/BS and minimum of 5 years external client facing experience in program/project management; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences:

  • Experience managing Participant Directed Attendant Care programs at a managed care organization, state, coordination agency, or FMS is strongly preferred.
  • Experience in managed care and LTSS service provision is strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated interest in improving personal outcomes of individuals receiving services is strongly preferred.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills are strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products experience is strongly preferred.
  • Vendor management experience is strongly preferred.
  • Relationship management experience is strongly preferred.
