SeatGeek believes live events are powerful experiences that unite humans. With our technological savvy and fan-first attitude we’re simplifying and modernizing the ticketing industry.

Our Investments business is responsible for maximizing the value of tickets managed and the returns on any of the decisions made. As the Program Manager, Investments you’ll be leading projects that further the Investment business’ goals. You will play a critical role in helping build and scale an investment platform at SeatGeek. You will lead projects to help set GTM strategy, define roles and responsibilities, and set and track success metrics. You’ll help guide the build-out of our internal tools to support and enable the team to perform complex trading market modeling and manage risk and P&L. You will assist in managing operations (from financial reconciliation to audit control to payments) for our direct and indirect investments.

You will sit on the Investments team and report directly to the Head of Investments. You will work closely with the other teams within Investments - Trading, Trading Operations, Business Development, Quantitative Research, etc.- as well as with teams across the SeatGeek business, such as Client Success, Pricing Product Management, Marketplace Operations, and Finance and Accounting.

What you'll do

  • Help define, measure, and guide the execution and performance of business strategy for team initiatives
  • Communicate project status to all stakeholders and take responsibility for deadlines and deliverables
  • Coordinate/manage external parties for custom development and system implementations
  • Be the primary point of contact between the Pricing Product, Data Science, and Analytics teams and the end-user Investment team or other key business stakeholders
  • Triage biz sys requests, ideas, and bug reports
  • Make decisions and recommendations that are backed by quantitative data, mixed with your innate sense for what will work well for our internal users

What you have

  • BS/MS in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field with 3-5 years of work experience
  • Understanding of derivative pricing models and portfolio performance factors
  • Have a proven track record of shipping internal use pricing, trading, or investment products and projects. 3+ years of program or project management experience is preferred
  • Intensely curious about the technology that powers the products you work on, and have a deep level of data fluency
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and think clearly under pressure
  • Excellent communication skills. You can translate technical jargon into human-readable ideas and concepts (and vice versa) and are comfortable communicating anything from project status updates to long-term strategic plans to diverse audiences, including senior leadership, stakeholders, and peers
  • Passion for sports, music, and live events in general
  • Preference for previous experience with pricing derivatives (equities, rates, fx, or commodities) at a hedge fund, bank, or proprietary trading firm

Perks

  • Equity stake
  • Flexible work environment, allowing you to work as many days a week in the office as you’d like or 100% remotely
  • A WFH stipend to support your home office setup
  • Unlimited PTO
  • Up to 16 weeks of paid family leave
  • 401(k) matching program
  • Health, vision, dental, and life insurance
  • Annual subscriptions to Headspace, Ginger.io, and One Medical
  • $120 a month to spend on tickets to live events
  • Annual subscription to Spotify, Apple Music, or Amazon music

The salary range for this role is $83,000 - $127,000. Actual compensation packages within that range are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and specific location.

An Insider's view of SeatGeek

What are some social events your company does?

The importance of gathering is baked into our DNA at SeatGeek! We always take time to celebrate milestones together, whether in person or virtually, and, while we throw an amazing End of Year party, my favorite events are a little more personal! We empower employees to create their own social events from fitness classes to crafting or or tv nights!

Erin

Workplace & People Programs Manager

What projects are you most excited about?

An ongoing project I am excited about is the redesign of one of the core flows in our app. It is a high impact, cross functional initiative and I love how we’ve been able to implement a new technical foundation, introduce new features, and improve the user experience. I’m looking forward to the initial release and gathering insights from consumers!

Jenny

Software Engineer II

How do you empower your team to be more creative?

We encourage teams to solve problems and create delightful customer experiences, not implement pre-defined solutions. Our teams leverage research/data to understand our customers needs and behaviors, but we also believe that giving teams the space to be creative during a discovery phase opens the possibilities of what they can come up with.

Director, Product Management
