Program Manager III - Value Based Operations

The Program Manager III supports the vision of creating an innovative care model for senior patients who are in Medicare Advantage plans. A caregiver in this position works from 8:00AM - 5:00PM.  

This is a remote position, must reside in NE Ohio

A caregiver who excels in this role will:  

• Develop, implement, manage, and maintain operational systems and activities. 
• Serve as a liaison with all levels of the organization and outside community. 
• Manage multiple priorities and projects with competing deadlines. 
• Allocate time to meet completion requirements. 
• Serve as a coach and mentor for other positions in the department. 
• Review and monitor adherence to Human Resources policies and corporate compliance procedures. 
• Interpret (KPIs) for payor contracts and population health.
• Work with healthcare data to identify trends and monitor outcomes.

Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:  

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field
• Five years of related experience in a healthcare setting OR a Master’s Degree and four years of experience.
• Knowledge of statistical and financial analysis, primary research and business plan development
• Knowledge of health IT systems like population health platforms
• Familiarity with risk stratification, care coordination and value-based care models

Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:  

• Master’s Degree

• 1.Certification in healthcare quality, compliance, or accreditation (e.g., CPHQ – Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality, CHC – Certified in Healthcare Compliance)

  2.Direct experience with NCQA or other accreditation bodies related to population health, delegation, and quality.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information. 
• Working in a stationary position for extended periods.  
• Working with physical records
• Operating a computer or other office equipment.  
• In some locations, ability to travel throughout the hospital system.  
• In some locations ability to move up to 25 lbs.
