The Opportunity:

The Program Manager II for Business provides strategic leadership, operational oversight, and business management support to advance UCF Center for Community School initiatives. This position develops and implements Center systems, processes, training, and continuous improvement strategies that strengthen operational effectiveness, promote responsible stewardship of program resources, support program reporting and accountability, and enhance stakeholder engagement. The role ensures effective execution of program priorities while maintaining alignment with organizational goals, program objectives and expectations, and intended outcomes.

Responsibilities:

Leadership & Staff Development:

  • Provide leadership and supervision to the reporting team while supporting Center business operations through coordination of processes that advance priorities, contribute to team capacity-building through coaching and professional development, and support the successful implementation of UCF Center for Community Schools initiatives.

  •  Serve as a Center resource for program operations, reporting, resource stewardship, and process improvement while ensuring activities align with organizational goals, program objectives, and applicable funding expectations.

Strategic Planning & Program Management: 

  • Collaborate with leadership and advise stakeholders to translate organizational priorities into actionable strategies, implementation plans, and program objectives.

  • Lead cross-functional initiatives that strengthen program effectiveness, operational alignment, and long-term sustainability while supporting the successful execution of Center initiatives.

Program Accountability and Reporting:

  • Oversee the coordination, development, and quality assurance of program reports, deliverables, and performance documentation.

  • Monitor implementation progress, identify opportunities for improvement, and support data-informed decision-making to promote accountability, transparency, and responsible stewardship of program resources.

Systems Development & Operational Excellence:

  • Design, implement, and enhance Center business operations systems, processes, and procedures to improve efficiency, scalability, and alignment with organizational priorities.

  • Develop operational workflows, funding processes, and deliverable tracking strategies while leveraging data, reporting trends, and stakeholder feedback to strengthen implementation and support consistent program execution.

Partnership Development & Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including external consultants, field experts, and community partners, to support collaboration, communication, and alignment across Center initiatives.

  • Coordinate with consultants and subject-matter experts to leverage specialized expertise, inform program development, and strengthen implementation.

  • Represent the Center in meetings, workgroups, and professional forums while fostering relationships that advance shared goals and strengthen community school implementation.

Technical Assistance & Training:

  • Lead the development and delivery of training, resources, and operational guidance to strengthen stakeholder understanding of program expectations, university processes, and implementation requirements. Collaborate with leadership and university partners to provide support that promotes effective program delivery, stakeholder capacity, and alignment with institutional and funding expectations.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Lead continuous improvement efforts by analyzing reporting data, stakeholder feedback, and performance trends to identify opportunities for operational enhancement at the Center.

  • Evaluate and refine processes, resources, and support strategies to improve efficiency, strengthen implementation practices, and enhance overall program performance.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support special initiatives, strategic projects, and organizational priorities as assigned.

  • Perform other duties as assigned in support of the mission and objectives of the UCF Center for Community Schools.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree and 4+ years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience pursuant to Fla. Stat. 112.219(6). 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree

  • Experience developing and implementing systems, processes, and procedures to support grant administration and program operations

  • Experience collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to develop, align, and implement shared systems and processes

Special Instructions to the Applicants:

  • The anticipated salary range for this position is $64,518- $80,648. The final salary will be determined based on the candidate's qualifications, experience, and internal equity considerations.
