Job Duties and Responsibilities
As a Program Manager II for Manufacturing, Distribution, and In-Home Services, you will own the end-to-end lifecycle of high-impact, cross-departmental programs that directly influence EchoStar's physical supply chain and field operations. You will be responsible for translating strategic operational goals into actionable, highly detailed execution plans-ensuring timelines are met, risks are proactively mitigated, and resources are optimized.
This role requires a rare blend of rigorous program management methodology, leadership-by-influence, and an obsessive attention to detail. Success in this role hinges on your ability to cultivate cross-functional relationships as a vital currency, driving alignment between factory floors, distribution centers, and field technicians.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and execute complex programs from concept to completion across the Manufacturing, Distribution, and In-Home Services departments
- Serve as the central point of alignment across distinct operational teams. Manage stakeholders with high emotional intelligence, resolving conflicts and building the consensus needed to push programs forward
- Develop comprehensive program schedules, operational workflows, and milestone trackers; maintain a razor-sharp eye for detail to ensure no operational dependencies are overlooked
- Proactively identify bottlenecks, material shortages, or service delivery risks; drive immediate, structured resolution plans to keep critical paths on track
- Generate and maintain detailed program documentation; analyze operational data and KPIs, translating complex findings into clear, actionable updates and recommendations for executive leadership
- Champion the optimization of PMO processes, implementing lean methodologies where appropriate to drive operational efficiency
- Provide guidance and support to junior project managers, coordinators, and cross-functional team members
Skills, Experience and Requirements
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree and 2 to 4 years of dedicated project/program management experience (or equivalent combination of education and 5+ years of related experience)
Skills and Qualifications:
- Internal candidates who have already demonstrated a strong track record of leadership, execution, and relationship management within EchoStar will be given preference
- Direct experience working within manufacturing, logistics/distribution, or field-based services is highly preferred. Experience interpreting analytical reporting, data analysis, troubleshooting, and a track record of making recommendations based off of gathered information
- Mastery of professional project management frameworks (PMP, Agile, or Lean Six Sigma are a plus) and modern PM softwares are a plus
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a proven ability to present complex operational data clearly to both frontline workers and senior executives
- Highly organized with a demonstrated ability to manage massive data sets, moving parts, and complex dependencies without losing track of the big picture

Salary Ranges
Compensation: $82,000.00/Year - $103,400.00/Year
