The Role

Job Summary

The Program Manager I is responsible for aligning customer and Hillman brand/product strategies. The Program Manager I is responsible for creating and presenting compelling category and product propositions that drive profitable growth and market share for both Hillman and our customers.

Essential Job Functions *

  • Focused on the customer
  • Pricing coordination of new items across all channels
  • Initiating "Big Swing" opportunities / Force PLRs
  • Working with channel on customer program optimization
  • Managing competitive intel / activity by category
  • Building and updating universal selling aides (coordinated)
    • Digital Catalogs, Allego, Go PlanOgram, copy, content
    • Ensuring all relevant digital content is on point
  • Brand strategy / "Swim Lane" management
  • Promotional item support (channel is placement / display)
  • Maintain competitive cross-reference
  • Insight fueled POS driving actions - customer mix/refresh
  • Works with Channel to ensure pricing consistency
  • Adaptation of existing product (Package, Qty, Art) NO PHYSICAL CHANGE TO THE PRODUCT
  • Packaging artwork for the program (design & content)
  • Good financial acumen -understands pricing strategy
  • Ability to tactically execute plan and programs
  • Self-motivated and driven coo

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business management, or a related field., 1-2 years' experience in related field.
