Role Overview
As Wealth Management Lead you will be a senior consulting leader driving strategic transformation initiatives for leading wealth management clients in Hong Kong. This role goes beyond delivery: you will shape client agendas, act as a trusted advisor to senior executives, and lead complex transformation programs that span digital, operating model, regulatory, and technology change.
You will play a key role in Capco’s growth within the Hong Kong wealth management market originating advisory work, building long-term client partnerships, and mentoring consulting teams while remaining hands-on in the design and execution of high-impact transformation programs.
Key Responsibilities
Market & Client Leadership
- Serve as a trusted advisor to C-suite and senior wealth management executives, providing strategic guidance on digital transformation, regulatory change, and future operating models.
- Lead client engagements across private banking, retail wealth, and digital advisory, helping clients respond to market, regulatory, and client experience challenges.
- Support business development efforts by shaping propositions, contributing to proposals, and identifying growth opportunities in the Hong Kong wealth management market.
Transformation & Advisory
- Lead end-to-end transformation initiatives, from strategy and target-state design through to execution and value realization.
- Advise clients on digital wealth platforms, client onboarding, portfolio management, advisory models, and front-to-back process optimization.
- Shape and deliver transformation roadmaps addressing technology, operating model, data, risk, and regulatory requirements.
Program & Delivery Oversight
- Provide senior oversight of large, multi-stream transformation programs, ensuring alignment with business strategy, regulatory expectations, and delivery outcomes.
- Establish strong governance frameworks, KPI tracking, and executive reporting to manage risk, dependencies, and benefits realization.
- Ensure delivery excellence across agile, hybrid, and traditional delivery models.
Leadership & Capability Building
- Lead, inspire, and mentor consulting teams, fostering a high-performance and inclusive culture.
- Contribute to Capco’s wealth management thought leadership, asset development, and go-to-market offerings.
- Build internal capability across advisory, digital, and transformation disciplines.
Skills & Expertise
- 10+ years of experience in consulting or financial services, with deep expertise in wealth management transformation and advisory
- Strong understanding of Hong Kong wealth management market dynamics, regulatory landscape, and client expectations
- Proven track record leading digital and business transformation initiatives within wealth management or private banking
- Experience advising senior stakeholders on digital strategy, platform transformation, operating models, and change management
- Strong delivery background across Agile, Prince2, and Waterfall methodologies
- Excellent executive communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills
- Commercial mindset with experience in business case development, value realization, and performance tracking
- Prior management consulting experience strongly preferred
- Fluency in English required; Cantonese and/or Mandarin highly advantageous
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
