Position: Program Manager 1
Program: West Village, Ross Center & Ondusky Center
Location: New Haven
Salary: $60,000-64,000/year
Schedule: Full time, 40 hours, 1st shift, Monday-Friday
Program Summary:
Ross Center, Ondusky Center and West Village - These Programs offer individualized case management and life skill building services to 65 adults with histories of chronic homelessness, mental health and/or substance use disorders. The program's goal is to help people maintain their housing and improve their day-to-day functioning. Case Managers work with each person on their individual goals. These might include connecting to natural supports, employment, education, social networking, and referrals to access community resources.
Position Summary:
The Program Manager reports to the Program Director. Responsible for assisting the Program Director with daily program operations and quality assurance. Coordination and ongoing training with CAMIS/TCM/HMIS/core DMHAS training for the Case Managers, providing weekly, monthly, or quarterly reports according to agency and funder requirements. Provide direct supervision and leadership to the case managers. Monitor program census, admit new clients and assign cases. Organize and facilities case conferences with outside agencies as needed. Assist Program Director with the coordinating administrative meetings with funders for ongoing program review and evaluation of reports. This position requires on-call responsibility. Program Manager is on-call to support Case Managers while the not in the office.
Working within Adult Services, the Program Manager 1 works on the Housing and Homeless Department Treatment care team to support clients’ recovery from mental illness, substance use, and homelessness.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree with 2 years of relevant experience or
- Master’s Degree with 1 year of relevant experience
- Valid Connecticut Driver’s License
- Regular and predictable attendance is required
Orientation:
If selected for employment with The Connection, newly hired employees will be required to attend a two (2) day mandatory New Hire Orientation at our Roscommon office located in Middletown.
