The Program Management Specialist plays a critical role in supporting the Email Campaign / HPP Team Lead (Google owned and operated platforms) in the day-to-day execution of email marketing campaigns. As a domain expert in email marketing, this resource ensures campaigns are set up accurately, deployed on time, and comply with defined QA standards, contributes to optimizing campaign performance, implementing A/B tests, and maintaining high operational excellence across campaigns
Position Responsibilities
Manage the day-to-day execution of global email / HPP marketing campaigns, ensuring accurate setup, timely deployment, and adherence to QA protocols
A subject matter expert for email campaign operations, providing guidance to the team members and provide recommendations on campaign best practices, tools, and workflows
Responsible for managing the overall email marketing/ HPP requests, gathering requirements, defining project plans, and ensuring flawless campaign execution by partnering with the production team.
Proactively identifies, tracks, and mitigates internal risks, resource conflicts, and production bottlenecks
Monitor and optimize email campaign performance using metrics such as open rates, click-through rates, conversions, and engagement indicators, collaborating closely with the cross-functional teams
Support the day-to-day email production workflows including content reviews, feedback rounds, version control and final readiness prior to the launch
Maintain clear communication with the internal stakeholders, providing campaign performance insights, QA findings etc
Mentor and guide junior team members on email campaign management processes, and quality best practices
Leverage existing and emerging email technologies and apply industry best practices to deliver high-performing, error-free email marketing programs
5+ years of experience experience in project management roles, coordinating projects across multiple organizations/cross functional teams, and manage multiple priorities and deadlines
3+ years of experience executing email marketing campaigns including campaign scheduling, deployment and post-launch process
Proven expertise in utilizing marketing automation tools, HTML/CSS for responsive design, and rigorous QA protocols to deliver error-free deployments.
Strong understanding of email performance metrics such as open rates, click-through rates, conversions, and engagement indicators to drive optimization.
Strong communication skills for interacting with stakeholders and coordinating with the production teams, and mentoring junior team members
Having as many of these specific qualifications is a plus, but transferable skills/experiences may be equally valuable:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing or Engineering
Experience with cross-channel marketing campaigns (email, push notifications, in-app messaging, SMS) is a plus
Understanding of marketing operations, processes, business requirements.
Knowledge of digital media and publishing ecosystems is a plus
Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with rapidly changing priorities and a high volume of projects
