We are seeking an experienced Power Conversion Program Manager to lead and coordinate the power conversion business, a newly acquired company by Nextpower. This role will be responsible for managing cross-functional programs across inverter and PCS product lines, supporting business integration, product execution, customer commitments, manufacturing readiness, and operational performance.
The Power Conversion Program Manager will serve as a central coordination point between Product, Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, Sales, Service, Finance, and Executive leadership. This role is critical to ensuring that APEX power conversion products are successfully integrated into Nextpower’s business portfolio and executed with strong discipline across schedule, cost, quality, customer delivery, and strategic priorities.
Key Responsibilities- Lead program management for the power conversion business, including inverter and PCS product lines.
- Coordinate cross-functional execution across engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, quality, sales, service, finance, and operations.
- Support integration of APEX into Nextpower’s business processes, operating cadence, reporting structure, and product roadmap.
- Drive program plans, milestones, schedules, risks, actions, dependencies, and executive reporting for key power conversion initiatives.
- Manage product commercialization activities, including new product introduction, production ramp, customer qualification, certification readiness, and field support readiness.
- Partner with Engineering and Product teams to track product roadmap execution, technical deliverables, design changes, certification status, and customer-specific requirements.
- Work with Manufacturing and Supply Chain teams to support production readiness, capacity planning, material availability, cost reduction, and delivery commitments.
- Track business performance metrics including revenue readiness, program milestones, cost targets, margin improvement, quality performance, and customer delivery status.
- Serve as a key interface for internal stakeholders and customer-facing teams on program status, risks, escalations, and recovery plans.
- Identify and resolve program risks related to schedule, technical execution, supply chain, manufacturing, quality, certification, and customer commitments.
- Establish regular business reviews, program dashboards, action trackers, and executive updates for the power conversion business.
- Support strategic planning activities for inverter and PCS growth, including portfolio alignment, market priorities, capacity expansion, and operational scaling.
- Drive accountability, ownership, and disciplined execution across all functions supporting the power conversion business.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Operations, Program Management, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
- 8+ years of experience in program management, business operations, product management, engineering program management, or operations leadership.
- Experience managing complex technical programs in power electronics, energy storage, solar, inverters, PCS, electrical equipment, industrial systems, or related industries.
- Strong understanding of product development, manufacturing ramp, customer qualification, supply chain execution, and cross-functional program governance.
- Demonstrated ability to manage schedules, risks, dependencies, budgets, executive updates, and cross-functional action plans.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to connect technical execution to commercial, operational, and financial outcomes.
- Experience working with engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, quality, sales, service, and finance teams.
- Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence without direct authority.
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities, ambiguity, and business integration needs.
- Proficiency with program management tools, dashboards, Microsoft Office, and executive reporting formats.
- Experience with inverters, PCS, battery energy storage systems, solar power conversion, grid-tied equipment, or utility-scale energy products.
- Experience supporting post-acquisition integration, new business formation, or scaling a newly acquired product portfolio.
- Experience with new product introduction, contract manufacturing, production transfer, or manufacturing scale-up.
- PMP, PgMP, MBA, or technical graduate degree is a plus.
- Experience working with global engineering, manufacturing, supplier, and customer teams.
The ideal candidate is a structured, business-oriented program leader who can manage technical complexity while driving commercial and operational outcomes. This person should be comfortable working across engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, sales, and executive teams, and should be able to bring clarity, discipline, and accountability to a newly acquired and growing power conversion business.
This role requires someone who can operate strategically while also managing details, actions, risks, and execution cadence. The successful candidate will help translate Nextpower’s power conversion strategy into an executable business and product roadmap for APEX inverter and PCS platforms.
