We are seeking a VP-level Senior PMO to lead governance and delivery execution across a portfolio of Payments Operations Transformation initiatives in Latin America, based in Mexico City. This role will partner closely with the overarching global transformation/PMO structure to ensure alignment to global standards, adoption of global best practices, and consistent, transparent reporting across the enterprise—while tailoring execution to regional needs.
As a PMO, you will leverage your deep knowledge and expertise in project management to navigate complex issues, make informed decisions, and ensure the successful execution of programs.
Job Responsibilities
Regional PMO Leadership (Latin America)
Own the end-to-end PMO operating rhythm for Latin America Payments Ops Transformation initiatives, including governance cadence, stakeholder forums, decision logs, and standard reporting.
Drive RAID management (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) and ensure timely escalation and resolution. Play a key role in driving delivery of the LSS 2030 strategic agenda across Latin AmericaPayments Operations.
Global Alignment & Standards Adherence
Serve as the primary PMO interface between Latin America delivery teams and the global PMO/transformation construct.
Ensure adherence to global delivery standards (methodology, controls, artifacts, stage gates, OKR definitions and monitoring) and embed global governance expectations into regional execution.
Identify, translate, and implement global best practices into the Latin Americaportfolio; share regional lessons learned back to global teams.
Integrated Planning & Delivery Management
Support build and maintainance of integrated delivery plans across multiple workstreams, milestones, and interdependencies from the Operations standpoint.
Operations Transformation Execution
Support process and operating model change delivery, including rollout planning, readiness, cutover coordination, and adoption tracking as needed.
Own and drive benefits realisation (e.g. MEP/risk reduction, efficiency, capacity creation, service levels improvement, enhanced quality) and align delivery to measurable targets.
Executive Communication
Produce crisp, decision-oriented updates for senior regional and global stakeholders, highlighting progress, blockers, trade-offs, and delivery forecasts.
Tooling & Ways of Working
Manage work intake and delivery tracking using Agile practices and tools such as monday.com and Jira (dashboards, workflows, backlogs, sprint tracking where applicable).
Integrate artificial intelligence solutions to enhance project outcomes and reporting to enhance data-driven decision-making and efficiency.
Required Qualifications
5–7 years of experience in PMO, program/project management, or portfolio delivery roles, ideally supporting Operations and/or large cross-functional initiatives.
Demonstrated ability to operate within a global governance model and ensure regional adherence to enterprise standards.
Strong command of Agile delivery concepts and hands-on experience using monday.com and Jira for planning, tracking, and reporting.
Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication skills; ability to synthesize complex topics into clear decision points.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience delivering operations/process transformation (process redesign, operating model, controls uplift, service improvement, automation enablement).
Certifications such as PMP / SAFe / Scrum Master (or equivalent).
Portuguese (written and spoken) is beneficial.
