As a Program Lead here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in leading and overseeing the successful execution of customer programs. You will be responsible for managing and delivering customer programs, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives, and driving program performance. You will work out of our Rosemont, IL location on a hybrid work schedule. In this role, you will impact on the success of customer-focused initiatives and programs, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and budget, thereby enhancing customer satisfaction and business outcomes.
Key responsibilities:
- Deliver projects and services within approved cost, schedule, and quality requirements
- Serve as the primary interface with UOP customers across all project phases, including meetings, reporting, inspections, documentation, and start-up support
- Coordinate with Sales, Customer Care, and Accounting to establish projects in SAP (including WBS/network setup, cost planning, and hour allocation), and manage cost accruals for outsourced equipment
- Organize and participate in customer equipment kick-off (orientation) meetings at customer and contractor facilities
- Obtain and validate required documentation, including UOP and customer specifications, to support preparation of equipment purchase requisitions
- Lead cross-functional reviews of vendor drawings and specifications to ensure compliance with UOP and customer requirements
- Coordinate and oversee shop inspections (UOP and/or third-party) at vendor facilities
- Lead and manage Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) activities with customers at vendor locations
- Coordinate and lead field service and inspection activities at end-user operating sites
- Provide ongoing support to Procurement, Logistics, Credit & Collections, and other internal stakeholders to ensure successful project execution
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date SAP and CORA cost planning and project reporting data
- Support Sales by reviewing customer ITB/RFQ documents, assessing cost and schedule impacts, and contributing to technical proposals
- Prepare project close-out summaries and facilitate close-out review meetings
- Contribute to development of sales support materials including technical presentations, product literature, proposal templates, pricing tools, and forecasting models
- Lead and support development of departmental standards, specifications, procedures, and best practices
- Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, productivity, and quality in project and service execution
- Mentor and train less experienced personnel in project coordination and field service/inspection responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with corporate policies, including HR, HS&E, Legal, Financial, and Accounting requirements
- Must be willing and able to work flexibly to support global customers and suppliers across multiple time zones outside of standard working hours to meet the needs of the project
- Perform additional duties as assigned
You Must Have
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering or adjacent field
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in mechanical equipment design, specification, manufacturing, project management, and/or field service inspection within refining, petrochemical, gas processing, or a related process industry

The annual base salary range for this position is $144,000 to $180,000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline.
