Job DescriptionOverview
SOSi is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Program Lead to join our team. As our Program Lead you will play a critical role in supporting our language service program for federal, state, and local law enforcement customers. You will work closely with our Program Manager to ensure that our contracts are executed efficiently and effectively, and that our linguists are properly trained, scheduled, and managed.
Essential Job Duties
- Assisting the Program Manager in managing and providing oversight to existing Title III and Non-Title III contracts for federal and state law enforcement agency customers.
- Liaising and coordinating with program Contracting Officer’s Technical Representatives (COTR) and Task Monitors.
- Providing estimates upon request by the Task monitor or any other Law enforcement representative.
- Receiving the Task Orders.
- Assigning linguists to support projects.
- Constant communication with linguists.
- Regularly coordinating with the Task Monitors.
- Maintaining and providing detailed time and attendance records on each contract employee on a weekly basis (assisting on this task when the Program Assistant is not available.
- Providing assistance and guidance to designated field managers and generating reports, both internally and externally.
- Responsible for training and orientation for new and current employees in the procedures and operational policies (phone call/emails).
- Supporting Cost control of all assignments by monitoring, validating and approving employee records.
- Assisting with program management reporting and program tracking.
- Managing database entries and record maintenance to support program reporting (assisting with this task when the Program Assistant is not available).
- Other duties as assigned by the Program Manager
Minimum Requirements
- Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
- U.S. citizenship or have been a permanent resident for at least three years, living in the United States for at least five years.
- Bachelor's degree.
- 4+ years of experience in project coordination or administration.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to effectively manage people and resources to satisfy project objectives and ensure completion of assigned tasks.
- Ability to work well under pressure to meet specific deadlines.
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Basic typing/word processing skills of at least 40 WPM.
- Excellent computer skills.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to prepare briefs and make oral and written presentations as required by SOSi.
Preferred Qualifications
- Fluency in Spanish a plus.
- Experience working with linguists or language programs is a plus.
Work Environment
- Normal office working conditions.
- Requires periods of non-traditional hours including consecutive nights or weekends when necessary.
- May require ability to lift/and or move objects or packages of up to 25 lbs.
- May require up to 25% travel in support of assigned tasks and responsibilities.
