Summary:
The Program Lead balances strategic planning, operational expertise and effective team management to manage complex programs and align resources to the work needed. The role reflects enterprise-level program ownership within Central Marketing with responsibility for orchestrating multiple interconnected workstreams, facilitating governance and decision-making, managing dependencies and risks and leading resource and capacity planning with senior stakeholders. The role is focused on portfolio-level program enablement and cross-functional operating discipline.
Primary Responsibilities
Program management:
Strategically partner to enable cross-functional marketing programs and initiatives.
Establish program roadmaps and orchestrate multiple interconnected projects and workstreams, including timeline development, sequencing, dependency management, governance cadence, stakeholder alignment, risk identification and escalation, and post-mortem reviews.
Add definition to projects and programs where needed, in order to create project and program clarity.
Keep systems up to date for broader visibility into programs and projects.
Senior stakeholder and resource management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.
Lead and facilitate the resource management process with senior leaders, identifying resource constraints and opportunities.
Thought leadership and process improvement:
Bring project and resource management “outside in” thinking to the team and broader organization.
Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency. Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
Champion project management software and process adoption.
Direct report team leadership
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field
Minimum of 8+ years of experience in Marketing Project Management or Brand Management or related field
People management experience
Exceptional interpersonal skills
Proven ability to strategically manage large initiatives, collaborating with multiple stakeholders and functions
Ability to improve existing processes, systems, and infrastructure
Ability to lead and inspire teams
The salary for this role is $107,680 - $161,520. In most cases, candidates offered employment can expect to be hired at a pay rate near the middle of our salary ranges.
